Clearly, we’re talking about an Indian team and a BCCI that does not care. They are confident that a few IPL wins & a flogging of a toothless NZ on tailor-made pitches at home later, this Aussie disaster will be quickly forgotten. History is on their side though: After all, how many folks recalled India’s dismal performance in England when we were thrashing them in the ODIs at home or when we were later playing & winning against the Windies last year? The BCCI knows that the average Indian cricket fan has the attention span of a moth & this is echoed by N. Srinivasan’s recent statement Therefore, it is sad but true that the money-making machine called the BCCI will chug along merrily & laugh all the way to the bank!

Mr. Srinivasan, you’re missing the point. The fans are furious that India has lost seven (count’em seven!) consecutive Tests abroad. This is unacceptable for a team that was #1 about six months ago. We all know that India routinely ambushes visiting teams on minefields masquerading as pitches at home. That said, your statement also reflects your cynicism regarding the average Indian fan. You know full well that once the IPL begins & later when we flog NZ at home on tailor-made pitches most of us will forget this Aussie nightmare. Shame on you!
Srinivasan is factually right. Our No.1 status was achieved only because we played maximum tests at Home or Home like conditions. Well done,Srinivasan Sir,you have spoken the truth, which always is bitter.

What is wrong in that ? What is the record of Australia,England in foreign soil. They got drubbings and win only in their homeland. So India loosing in Australia is a normal thing as all test playing nations of late only won in their backyards only.

Do you know the histroy of Cricket or current trend?
Aus visited SA in Nov11 and Won a test and drew the series along with ODI series win. And when NZ visited Aus in Dec11, NZ won a test against Aus. But only Ind could't perform in foreigns.
