Hey Shameless Mr. N. Srinivasan, do you know the ABCD of cricket ? This guy and all his chamchas should be sacked from BCCI immediately. Havent we seen Australia, South Africa and England win series abroad ? When has India won a series on a bouncy track abroad ? Indian cricket will be dead soon. No way this Indian team is going to reach even semi-finals of the 2015 world cup. They dont deserve to be called World champions. The Indian team won the 2011 world cup due partly due to the slow dead pitches in India. Even Pakistan has won a world cup in Australia. Winning a World cup in home country is not a big deal. The whole Indian cricketing system should be changed to dump non-performing players immediately. The BCCI instead of munching money from non competitive and useless IPL and domestic matches should spend some money to prepare fast and bouncy pitches in India (atleast a few of them) taking cue from Australia or England. Identify some good young fast bowlers who can improve gradually. Its all a matter of common sense watching all these debacles. Never bank on a Sehwag or Dhoni pyrotechnics against Teams like West Indies on dead pitches. Sehwag could not have done anything like that on a competitive pitch. We dont have genuine fast bowlers and the Cricket selectors or board never make effort to identify them. We have bowlers who are not capable of dismissing Tony Greig's grandmother on his backyard (as he rightly put it).

HAHAHA!! absolutely right...Its better BCCI should arrange only club cricket with local guys playing against Indian team where sehwag will score 400 runs...then srinivasan will clap for the whole day!!

Mr. Goldstar,for everything you have questioned, i will ask yo WHY? Why should we prepared faster pitches? Why should we produce 150 fast bowlers? etc. If you have seen the change in Cricket, it is NOW in India the sport is more popular and BCCI is literally ruling the world Cricket. We have the talent, brains and money. Gone are those days when people like you wanted teams to prove in England and Aus to become the best. Future are the days when other teams should win on Indian soil to become the best. Accept the change and be proud of it. Remember we are good at swing and spin, so should the world of cricket should change - We don't change, we change the world :)

Hey, Anil, if we have the talent we would not have lost so badly in England and Australia. Champions are those who win in all conditions. same england and aussie never lost so pathetically in India.
Who said fast and bouncy pitches can't be made in India? India have many places similar to the climate conditions of Australian cities. Most of these places climate is like Delhi. Cold winter and hot summer(4 Degree to 43 degree range). Bring some mud from Australia in a ship which brings lakhs of tons of coal getting imported from Australia. Make pitches and practice. Actual fact is that INDIAN VEGGIES DON't HAVE THE STAMINA TO BOWL LIKE AUSSIES> THEN HOW COME INDIAN BATSMAN CAN GET A PRACTICE ITSELF.

yes you are right!!! If bouncy pitches cant be made in India then BCCI should make concrete pitches on the ground where any ball can bounce..let them practice there for some time with full guard from head to toe!! Then only our batsmen can handle the short pitch and bouncy deliveries on overseas tour!!

Do you mean to say all Indian bowlers are Veggies? How fast does your Irfan Pathan bowls? Is he a veggie or what? Bowling fast is not due to diet (veg or non-veg). Body structure, Rythm, hardwork, etc all play their part. So if you don't know cricket, don't comment
Instead of saying things like that,,He could have told that we will now make fast and bouncy pitches in India rather than those dusty pitches where a class nursery boy can also score 300 runs alone..If BCCI dont prepare bouncy pitches,,India's result in overseas tour will be like this only...shame on you srinivasan..

Fast and bouncy pitches can not be made in India because of soil and calimatic conditions.English grass is used on pitches which will not grow in India

who told you that? Australian climate is very different from english climate. in fact you can compare Mohai climte with Melbourne, Perth with Delhi or Bisbane with Kolkata. fast and bouncy pitch can easily be prepared in India.
This should be accepted from the mouth of a man who, I think, has never played any competitive sport, leave alone cricket. Its like a child playing with another and loosing and then telling, come to my house, I will defeat you...
Srinivasan you are a shameless man. Instead of being ashamed by the performance of the team, you are giving useless excuses and also trying to justify the loss for the spineless cricket played by our team. If a president of the cricket board talks like this what performance can you expect from the team? They will also be as shameless as you are.

he is making grounds for IPL as he has a stake in that. Look how shameless these people are, IPL has devastated the country s cricket. I am sure all IPL matches stands wud be full and we will again cheer and clap when Dhoni hits a six where the ball does not come above knee height..this is Indian cricket.Sadly enough.

should have 2 teams one for overseas tour and one for home tour, overseas team will resides in Australia they will practice in Australia will not come to india, while one team will play in india and resides in india. try this and you will get sure shot success.
