3rd Test Report Card
by abc_xyz abc_xyz on Jan 15, 2012 10:09 PM

Sehwag --> 0 /10 ( Needs some basic education on how to bat in test matches)
Gambhir --> 0/10 ( Batted some sense this time in the 1st Inn...still not fit as an opener)
Dravid --> 1/10 ( The wall is starting to break..urgent repair reqd unless things go out of control)
Tendulkar --> 0/10 ( Though didnt score anything this time, can't imagine a test line-up without him. Still the best batsmen on the tour)
Laxman --> 0/10 ( May not play for India again)
kohli --> 3/10 ( Finally got something against his name ..can be groomed for the future)
Dhoni --> 0/10 ( the only reason he is there in the team is because he is the captain. otherwise he is a big liability in the team)
Vinay --> 0/10 ( bad test debut in the best conditions for a pace bowler..no future)
Zaheer --> 1/10 ( was ok with the ball, complete ZERO with the bat)
Ishant --> 0/10 ( needs to review basics of bowling on fast tracks, will be in the team as we have no other option)
Umesh --> 5/10 ( excellent bowling on day 2, should control leaking too many runs. Only bright spot in this otherwise forgettable test match)

Ecstasy Joy Ride!

WHAT A SHAME. ONLY TALK BIG & DO LITTLE.

Looks like everyone (SELECTORS & PLAYERS) is under influence!!
This happens when there is too much MONEY in the offing and there is no SELF DICIPLINE.
The question also lies One Day vs. Long format (Test matches). Requires a total different mind set.
There must be a major shake-up from TOP to BOTTOM (Selectors & Players). People who can add value selflessly must qualify.
Let’s throw out the old player. They have lost their self esteem and do not know when to retire gracefully. It’s about time to show them the door UNFORTUNATELY. They are seat warmers in the team and earning big money for themselves without delivering any goods. What a SHAME. Do not know how a country of 1 Billion can tolerate all this????
It’s too much MONEY….MONEY….with no SELF DICIPLINE and DEDICATION.

Disgusting Loss
by Mohan Deshmukh on Jan 15, 2012 09:06 PM

What next, lose to Bangla Desh in their country? Losing in less than three days is pathetic. Ofcourse the players have more time to make merry and for sightseeing with their wives and girlfriends. What next? Loss within two days for more merry making? Disgusting we coul dnot even make 250 in any of the innings in the match. More money to our cricketers

Thank you Dhoni
by Jiju on Jan 15, 2012 07:49 PM

Thank you Dhoni, we achieved a new record of 7 SOLID whitewashes overseas. You have sure "made it large" with a blend of youth and experience.
Pls dont give up ur captaincy. We dont want to dissappoint ur fantards. After this series, ur dream run will again start since ur favorite flat track matches will start. You will again be Captain Cool. As u know that in end of 2013 there will be a competitive series, u can take retirement. Till then, make money as much as u can!!

Of burning and Burnol!
by Hari N on Jan 15, 2012 07:34 PM

Not so long ago, when India whitewashed England on home ground, some idiot here barked loudly saying that "the sales of Burnol in England must have shot up as the English public must be suffering from a burning sensation in their a---s!" This idiot and so-called patriot (in reality a chauvinist pig!) said this, unmindful of the fact that England too had whitewashed India in England! Now that Australia are on the verge of whitewashing India on their home soil, I would like to know where that "genius" is hiding now! Probably, he and his ilk are unable to contain the burning in their a---s, and are busy buying Burnol in bulk!

BCCI
by junaid anwar on Jan 15, 2012 07:23 PM

BCCI is after all a private sector corporate like entity whose main motive is to make money by employing all sorts of methods, understandably so.It is never interested in any other things than this, the prime example being the state of stadias and spectators facilities, while BCCI claimed to be a worlds richest sporting body but the viewers are made to sit under sun whole day in concrete slabs, while BCCI makes hay,IPL being also a prime example.Cricket has become such a big thing in india now that a small intervention by the Govt at the centre to make BCCI accountable is due now. Many will complain about the Govt being corrupt itself but there is no harm in trying so,atleast a govt representative should be their in the board.
