While everybody are bashing Dhoni I would want to be one to sympathize with him and support him. Agreed it has been a very poor performance by him as a captain as well as a batsman. But, he is the one who has won many glories for India, winning the world cup beating Pakistan in Semi final, winning the T20 world cup and many other matches etc etc. To me, there is no better match winner than him in the current team. I know we all are very angry and frustrated with the result but who in the team has been consistent. It has been a total team's failure and if you want to really blame, my first and foremost blame would go on the top 6 batsman out of which 5 of them are seniors having played so matches and still failed against a new string Australian attack. Looking at the Australian bowling lineup without the likes of Brett Lee, Warne and McGrath I initially thought it would have been easier this time but it was not. I hope we do better in the one day series. In short, it must be a good break for Dhoni just to reflect and see what went wrong and then come back strongly in the one day series. I would definitely not write him off as he is the best captain in the current Indian team and possibly the best Indian captain ever so far.

many? In India/subcontinent pitches or against weak opposition even Raina/Sehwag/Gambhir have won us the matches.....

Thats fine even if it is Indian/Subcontinent pitches. It has been the same story with any other captain abroad barring one or 2 series. Our batting has not lived to its expectations when it comes to playing in Aus or Europe. As far as i can remember he has been more successful than anybody else overall. I am not unconditionally supporting him "My friend". Just that I dont want to forget the memorable victories that are due to him.

DHONIS DAYS R DOWN... ALSO FOOLISH DECISION BY SELECTORS,,, to take vinay, mithun and laxman, not to pick pujara,nehra, amit mishra, RPsingh. Hope they learn their lesson

Laxman was picked based on his performances against Aus. I hope this was his last test. Also hope Dravid gracefully quits after this series after being India's arguably best test batsman ever. I think dropping Ashwin for this test was a mistake since though possibly he wouldn't have made much difference to the result but he was much better than most others atleast batting wise. I agree Vinay Kumar should not even have been in the squad.
All the 11 Indian players should be banned from the cricket for next 100 tests. They should start Gulli Danda and whoever scores Mahashatak there should be declared as 'Bharat Ratna'
The Pitches in Bangladesh have suddenly turned green. It didnt suit our batsmen who were taken by suprise.We were not able to adapt to the swing and bounce their bowlers generated.They also surprised us by their four pronged fast bowling attack ,they were just too fast for us.Our bowlers did the job in getting them out once but batsmen failed miserably.Hope we get some flat wickets for the Ireland Series so that our batsman can do well there.

Good though LG , i have some difference of opinion on this ( assuming we are talking abt 4th test ) , DHoni anyway is out of contention , he should be replaced by parthiv ( fly him if the need be ) , sehwag should be allowed to continue , VVS should be dropped and rohit should replace him , dravid should be allowed to continue , Zaheer is one bowler we cannot make do without . Though i would recommend removing gambhir and replacing him with Rahane .
will replace Laxman & Dhoni and Oza in place of Vinaykumar. Ashwin could also be tried as opener in place of Gambhir as the former will score consistently and also can bowl.
