Withdraw from TEST CRICKET
by vinod kumar on Jan 13, 2012 06:21 PM

INDIA MUST WITHDRAW from TEST cricket. This will save us the disgrace and give the time for our cricket heroes to act in more movies, ads, celebrity shows etc. Heard Dhoni is acting in a Tamil movie called "Dhoni". Congrats Dhone!!

Perhaps, they should concentrate on winning 2015 World Cup.

Why waste time on this?

:-)

India battered!
by majji babu on Jan 13, 2012 06:17 PM  | Hide replies

lets face it! Indians including Tendulkar lack the technque to play on good sportng tracks. today media rules!they can make a hero out of any dick!and when bullied by Govt. can go into a shell and manipulate anythng & everything. remember what happened to Anna crusade n Mumbai. Gavaskar had the best technique among Indian batsmen. he faced bowling greats like lillie, thompson, marshall , andy roberts without protection. ok it is a different matter that today he plays dirty politics wth Ravi shastri for manipulating decisions nationally and internationally!
our problem is we dont have anyone outthere! who can bat for a day doggedly .

Frankly, I believe we play to true potential everywhere, the pitch decides our fate! On feather beds at home, we break all records! If I may, more lbws on key foreign batsmen also helps; just check the records!

get it out of the system
by shiva on Jan 13, 2012 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

Good that we have a site where we can get every frustration out of our system. But don't forget, we are to blame for expecting miracles. Our stars just don't have it to play on fast wickets anymore; they are past their prime. Imagine Sampras at 39 taking on Joker.

correction! they are not fast wickets but sporting wickets with a bit for the bowler and also for batsmen. age is not a factor here. it's just that the likes of sehwag (worst technique), gambhir, 10dulkar, dradvd and laxman just dont have the balls to face fast bowling.

majji babu, age is a factor; reflexes do slow down. That is why in tennis, the decline starts at thirty; why Sampras, now 39, is long retired.

Congrats
But recently 8th ranked NZ was way better and series 1-1.
Cannot believe this much difference b/w teams.

Humiliation for Indian team

Coach Duncan,

What is he doing in Australia? No contribution from him. Enjoying sight seeing in Australia & allowing players to concentrate on everything except Cricket.

Yeah. Duncan should play instead of Dhoni. We would at least reach 250. ;-)

True potential
by shiva on Jan 13, 2012 05:42 PM

Our heroes are like monkeys on hot bricks on fast wickets. But on our feather beds, they can go on and on. We play true to potential, but the results depend on the wickets!
