by arvin g on Jan 14, 2012 05:15 AM  | Hide replies

drop sehwag... he is good only for his galli type cricket...
drop gambhir... let this traitor serve his ipl masters full rested so that he does not fake injury again to rest...
drop laxman... how long this very very selfish batsman can be kept in team based upon performance of eons ago...
drop dhoni... he does not deserve a place in test team...
drop zaheer... let him play ipl or ranji / no longer test level bowler...
drop ishant... let him do modelling/play ipl...
and kick srikant and his southie clan of ashwins/mithuns/vinay kumars out for good...
bring back rp singh and irfan pathan and mishra and take rohit sharma and pujara and tiwary and rahane in the team now along with saha or parthiv patel as wicketkeeper...

ZAK failed
by Gurjot Singh on Jan 14, 2012 12:43 AM

Sack ZAK. He is the most experienced bowler and should have more control. It is an irony that Sehwag and Tendulkar may bowl long spell as fast bowlers may fail miserably.

even ausis gr8s retired during 90s n all of a sudden aussi team looked vulnerable. but again border the brave capt took up the responsibility n built a new n winner team of all youngsters. so dont b under impression that there is no alternative (tina)

Our successes are based on spin friendly wickets... we do not want to compete in that fast bowling/ batting section..
Sp pitches in india will remain the same and we will suffer abroad

vengskar n srikanth had to give place to sachin.
by vinay on Jan 13, 2012 11:17 PM

then sachin came to intnl scene. if they were not dropped, sachin wudnt hv made his debut. if u dont gv chances to others, how vl u judge them. even sachin took a long time to make his first century. dravid also made his memorable test debut after so many odi failures but sheer persistence with him.

ind inning
by vinay on Jan 13, 2012 11:08 PM

ind inning
it was a brilliant inning by ind.

sachin scored one of his finest cover drive of his career showing y he is greatest player in his gutsy knock of 2 digit score.

sehwag is gutsy player known to hit out bowlers out of the ground, but got an unplayable ball.

as in science, dhoni is new inventor in batting techniq with new helicopter shot which 'unfortunately' got his downfall.

rahul had tried hard this time with lots of net practice so as not to keep space between bat n pad, he suceeded in it but ball still went of the boot to stumps. cant blame him.

otherwise, ind wud hv scored big runs, u know.

retirements.
by vinay on Jan 13, 2012 11:06 PM

narayan murthy inspite of taking infy to such a new high retires at some stage, even if he cud continue.

ratan tata cud continue but declared his retirement, even though he is considered best not in ind but among world.

but our gr8s (!) dont think of retirement even after playing for the country(!) for such a long time. let the yungsters gv chance, they may perform better. even if they dont, whats the harm, one day or the other, oldies had to retire, then y not now. let them feel the sentiments of ind ppl. if u dont gv chances n opportunities, how wud yungstrs excel?
all dravid (after so many failures in odi), sachin ( after so many century less tests), laxman had to take their own timeto score their centuries.
