Indians pick go-karting over practice before Perth Test
by mallajosyula senior on Jan 09, 2012 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

We are seeing everything through magnifying glass. They have been playing cricket through out the year and still we criticize them that they are not practicing. We criticize them that they are playing IPL cricket and that is the reason for their poor form. Every one wanted make money if it is available in the right way. When we have lost in England we have over criticized them but when England lost all the 5 ODIs we have praised them. Already our Ex test players starting naming the players to be removed from test cricket(VVS to be removed)But for Tendulkar all our batsmen scored only one innings so we remove every one? Instead of putting them under lot of pressure by criticizing in the middle of the tour. Better we leave it to the tour management to sort out the composition of the team. At present they re the best known people. At the end of the 4th test we can criticize, blame and even suggest who all the players to be sacked are.

BCCI should come under RTI and we the citizens should have a right to know the process & criteria of selection ?? The players are unless made accountable the control will be in the hand of bet makers(result is pre sold to bet makers)and nations prestige future of Indian cricket in Dumps. Why BCCI still not allowing technology proven method to clear the doubte in controvercial out decisions ?? it is clear to all the actual reason ??---pc royghatak

Please dont pass easy judgement
by Atanu Chatterjee on Jan 09, 2012 01:42 PM  | Hide replies

Please don't pass easy judgement. They played badly and they need to pass through the bad phase asap. Sitting in the dressing room with sad faces with loads of guilt may satisfy the ego of few saddists, but would not yield any result. They need to be mentally up there at par with the aussies to make a match of next two tests. They need to come out of the gloom, do some entertaining, refreshing and team building activities apart from practicing according to the condition.

LET SUNIL GAVASKAR SHUT UP!
by Kabeer on Jan 09, 2012 01:35 PM

With aal the respect that I have for Sunil Gavaskar, I now have to just say-SHUT UP!

Dhoni is right in what he is doing, atleast now.

Indians just need to switch off for a few days. These blokes are not new to cricket. They have been playing for nearly a decade and a half and they know it better. They are not rookies.

In fact they know that their careers may end ungloriously. If they really believe that these kinds of net practice is going to help they are the first ones to ask for and Dhoni being junior to them in age and experience just cant deny it.

Now regarding bowlers getting net practice.

YOu just cant overexert your tired fast bowlers again for rigorous practice.

Give them a few days off.

Anyways they are going to have some practice at nets before Perth Test at WACA.

Aussie and British veterans once commented upon the difference between Indian and Pakistani teams in the yester years when Pakistan was above India.

You may lose a match; but that doesnt mean you sit in the hotel rooms locked up and keep sulking and getting depressed.

Pakistani teams just come out of the hotel rooms as it nothing happened and are cheerful while Indians when they lose a match overseas lock themselves up and keep sulking without even coming to the lobby or face journalists.

More often Pakistan bounced back and defeated the hosts in the next test while Indians almost always keep losing.

This kind of stupid discipline is only to please masses back in India just like Bishen Bedi

Is Rediff coach of BCCI team?
by Roger That on Jan 09, 2012 01:34 PM

Then why are they preaching what they must do? Does rediff think just by net practice, team will learn cricket?
