leave cricket
by gulam faizuddin on Jan 09, 2012 01:33 PM

Actually they should leave cricket and play football during the break, they will get enough exercise and feel mentally fresh for the next match.

Poor performance of Indian cricketers
by chandran on Jan 09, 2012 01:32 PM  | Hide replies

Expecting winning all the matches is ridiculous. Had the team won, showering praises and lost, criticising them dirtily is too bad. During 60s to 90s seldom the team won. The success rate during 2000 is better and it has been still higher during Dhoni's tenure. Who are the critics - mostly by lensmen who have never played cricket and by retired players of whom more than 90% proved nothing during their playing days. Reg TEST MATCHES except Gavaskar, Kapil and Kumble no player is competent to criticise.

This, to my mind, is a highly irresponsible piece of journalism, especially the headline. Am quite disappointed that this comes from Rediff !

Author of this article should have minimum common sense to put a heading like that.... This is utterly nonsense...

Indian team got enough talent... they just need to be mentally strong... they just need to relax at this point of time... It should be okay to indulge in other sport for some time..

The thing shameless is the news, Team India is shane enough to know what to do. If you are not performing well does not mean spending 20 hours in net will get your form back.

Cricket is not just a skill based game but a lot of character and patience, unless you have a relaxed mind you cannot perform. There is lot of ability and talent in current Indian team, it's matter of time they put it in place.

Go-Karting is nothing to be shameful about, rather nothing is, player have a personal life... Media does not.

Ya. I agree on that. Even Sourav on commentary was mentioning the same that they should take off from cricket for 3 days.
