Time to replace Old Guys and Bring new faces
by Kannan sri on Jan 09, 2012 01:41 PM

Its right time to bring new Batsman in Indian Team. Replace Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Laxman and Dhoni and Bring new talents.Allow People to get themselves set and play the game.Bring in Abhinav Mukund, Chateswar Pujara, Rohit Sharma, Badrinath into the team. Train batsman in Bouncy Pitches Like what you have in Durban or Perth. That will help Team India better Chances.Dont rely on Fletcher or Simphons [the coaches] Bring in the best talent. Bring somebody like Brain Lara / Mark Waugh for Batting[ like Kirsten, who was fresh for international coaching and proved what he was capable of ] and Glenn McGrath / Gillespie for Bowling coach who can train Indian Bowlers the Line length and Swing to Scare any batsman in the world. Training can make wonders[Eg. Warne, hope few remember , his first test was against India and his match figures 1 /206]. Talent is not a problem in India . Way of Training and Type of Wickets are problematic. If you resolve this, Team India will definitely become a World Champions in all 3 formats of the game..

nine pins falling

this australian pace attack is going to take them again on the no 1 spot. i thought cummins' absence would give a slight advantage to india but amazed to see the young pattinson, old horse hilfenhaus and nippy peter siddle perform to great abilities. although i am an indian fan to the core it is always good t watch the south africann and australian fasr bowlers bowl.

ishant is fast but is too wayward.
zaheer can take 3-4 wickets but he needs support. umesh yadav is blank. ashwin is good but australian pitches are uneffective as far as spin bowling is concerned

then how warne was able to take wickets on same pitches. it's mentality ob indian bowler. does pace bowler not take wicket on spinning tracks in india then is bowler is cvapable he must get wicket on all tracks not only friendly ones.

U are right. These Aussies have the knack of finding world class quicks from time to time. They have a great tradition going back from Spofforth to McDonald, Lindwall, Miller, Mckenzie, Lillee, Thomson, Hogg, Pascoe, McGRATH,etc and now these quicks. They have Ryan Harris, Mitchell Johnson, Bollinger, in the reserve pack...imagine such fine bowlers...if they all come together..they are truly lethal. But their real test will come on sub continent pitches and England plus SA..where they have not been that great yet!

That is what happened in Aussies first inning at Sydney. Zaheer was bowling supperbly and had captured three wickets to reduce Aussies
to 37-3. But on the other hand, Yadav and Ishant were off the target. Otherwise, the Aussies would have been something like 60-5. Remember, Michel Clark was out of form recently. Of Course, Dhoni's over-defensive tactis aggrevated the matter. The problem with India is that only one bowler clicks and remaining bowlers give away easy runs.
