Rest Dhoni
by Ashish Sharma on Jan 06, 2012 12:48 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni should be rested for a couple of matches so he can introspect. He isn't justifying his batting capabilities by batting lower down the order. He should move up in batting than hiding in his shell. In any case, if he fails it won't hurt much, but if he fires a quick knock it will derail the bowling attack.

Gauti's form is still questionable. Possibly he will get one more test to consolidate his position. If he fails, sure we will see rahane opening in the 4th test.

Our failures are because of lack of focus in our bowling. Till we develop some real talent that sustains consistency and doesn't get carried away by money and fame, we will be getting thrashed not only in overseas but also within India. We never prepare anything for an overseas tour. The blame is there.

Bowlers made the difference
by Ashok Kumar on Jan 06, 2012 12:47 PM  | Hide replies

In my opinion the bowlers made the difference in this test match. While Ausie bowlers maintained a tight wicket to wicket line wheras Zak and Ishanth wasted their energy bowling outside the off stump line. The use of bouncers was also very rare to put any doubt in the minds of the Aus batsmen. Except for the openers and Shaun Marsh, the rest were in fact enjoying Indian bowling as it was given plenty of relaxing time besides scoring opportunities. A struggling batsman like Ricky needed that and our bowlers happily obliged. We need to get more aggressive and disciplined in our bowling to really succeed in foriegn conditions.

ak, our fast bowlers never had that kind of temprament of bowling with consistency. in the name of variety and trying different things they just lost the plot.i remember kapil as he was the only guy bowled with consistency.

only tendulkar scoring consistently but whioole india is after him to retire and calling him playing for personal milestone. if he would have scored 100 and got out everybody would have blamed him. think idiots if everybody score 100 then there is no way team can lose. beiong selfish is better than not scoring. rpobably you like sehwag.

weird you have idi0t MSD (failed as both WK and batsman) and kohli (arrogance wasting talent) but you don't want Sachin (current leading scorer from India) or Dravid (leading scorer for India last year) in.

Improve Technique not blame the Players
by rama anne on Jan 06, 2012 12:44 PM  | Hide replies

Nothing wrong with the PLAYERS
==========
BCCI lacks a solid policy
it is run by power brokers ,who maintain bank account and exhibit power but lack both short term and long term policies
=====
Just getting some Foreign Coach ,Physio etc will not suffice

we need a minimum code of conduct and BCCI should have both long term and short term policies
============
Long term policies
====
Grassroots Cricket

short term policies
===========
Proper use of Technologies
Proper use of Facilities and keep up pace with
Anglo Saxon countries like AUSSIES ,South Africans and English etc

we need to build a annexure next to every Indian cricket stadium - Indoor nets
get bowling Mcahines and customise with ISROs help Robotics and Software from TCS (like TCS does for Ferrari Formuale One Racing Car )
----
Make indian batsmen access the facilities and practise with Hot spot tech and video footage
let the Bowling Machine simulate
145 MPH deleveries with swing and height (rising)
Indian batsmen must then attempt to view the video footage with Hotspot to see where the ball hits the Bat
they just practise until they get the shots correct
observe Foot work ,Body movement and yes they should also Have stumps
They should get the feedback from Video report
and each Batsmen as a pair should Practise the same
================
same way Bowlers also should practise and get the pitch report at nets like where they bowled and pitched and how the ball is going

why you attack Sachin ,etc

ARE U A INDIAN CHRISTAIN CONVERT WHO GOT SOME IT JOB WITH BROKERING TO WHITE PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA
OR
YOU ARE A iNDIAN ENEMY WHO IS PLAYING POLITICS HERE TO JUST TEASE INDIANS ?

Enjoy your brokerage to WHITE people
But why insult fellow iNDIANS ?
ARE U NOT ASHAMED ?
u will sell INDIA LIKE A BROKER TO WHITE PEOPLE
=====
Just like the Political Sycophants in New delhi do every day
sell CWG 2010 GAMES
sell IAF
===
Too many Brokers in NEW DELHI
TOO MANY BROKERS in australia

that is why india was ruled by British for 400 years as well

India did well still ,we are upset because Some brokers who are Indians are acting funny when in Australia

-=====
we are not upset because Indian team lost
yes we are sad and want them to win
but we are not that extreme to abuse our players

about as well
==================
Long term Policies
========
In India some Ex cricket Players like Md AZHARUDDIN and some PATHAN bros want to start or started Cricket Academy

I feel that does not suffice why ?
because Md Azharuddin is a private individual and invests his own money ,so he will not be able to subsidise nor reach out to schools across ap state or across INDIA

only BCCI can do it as a NATIONAL POLICY

that is why it is important to plough back the money back into Grass roots level cricket
======
BCCI also should make attempts to create 2 decks one at Mohali and one at Nagpur like a WACA or GABA etc
