champions win everywhere
by rahul joya on Jan 04, 2012 08:33 PM

Real Champions show up and play anywhere in any condition in any weather. I guess India and Indians as a whole need to buy a big mirror and take a lot at themselves and stop praising selfish, worthless, classless, egoistic and fake people. Get rid of players who are trying to break records and are ageing and who can't perform? If a player cannot perform in one home series and one away series show him the door. What training, culture and ethics do these players have?
Had they been playing here in America in any sport they would have been kicked out long time back?
Sachin you need to go? Biggest choker of all time. Made one gutsy century in that worthless series in Sharjah against Australia and people never forget that? Did that series make India win the world cup? Maybe the youngsters are not performing when they see these these old uncles playing with them? Just think about it? Major overhaul of attitude and ethics is needed? Its become a big joke and biggest joke is the big big commentary and discussions people have on this.

This time no argument...
by Google on Jan 04, 2012 07:49 PM

This time no argument...NO bucknor no injuries to front line bowlers, all the critical wrong decisions went in India's favor, a very young, new and unsattle Australian side, no extraordinary players, all experience Aus players out of form, Indian team with its full potential, all the players in form and we are loosing fair and square...

Sad demise of indian cricket
by KKunal Ghogrre on Jan 04, 2012 05:41 PM

To see indian team at this pathetic stage I wonder what will happen when the great Shane watson returns with his swing and bounce and great batting technique. We wudnt even reach a combined score of 100 runs. Adding to this Aus is also not playing Pat cummins another tearaway fast bowler as he's injured and No Mitchell johnson.

India will end up losing this match but they can take some measures before the next match. Players like Gautam, Virat, Ashwin, Laxman, Ishant needs to be replaced because they are struggling. But one of the main reason why India performed well in the previous Australian tour was because of Dravid, who is yet to make any significant mark. The senior players have to show the way and start showing some backbone against the Australian pace attack. Hope it goes well but the momentum is with the Australian team now so breaking that tide will be tough.

What if ??????????????????
by Ali M on Jan 04, 2012 05:22 PM  | Hide replies

what if Sachin was playing for Australia or South Africa ( no pressure- no burden)
What if Ricky pointing, Jack Kallis and other great players were playing for India ( Pressure-burden-peoples expectation)Sachin facing Indian bowlers and Punter, Kallis, and other facing all the other bowlers except Indian bowlers.. what could have been the record now... common everyone... suggestion please.......

good points first of all we wudnt have seen spectacular innings of Sharjah in 1998, secondly if he was playing for Aus, Aus wud have won most of the world cups and test series in last 20 years or so and there wudnt have been any real contest in cricket and cricket wud have become un-interesting

totally wrong theory ali.
It is not that Punter and Kallis are not facing quality bowling. They do face it when they are playing teams other than India and they perform.
The main persons to blame are the BCCI guys. They have fed Indians with placid pitches and all the batsmen are just used to this.
