Hi Rajshekhar
There is no shame to speak in hindi......why are you calling bangalore as "our" isn't the whole india is ours. Even by learning english you have to beg there is no question of learning it as according to you in banagalore beggars are speaking in english. Why don't you learn better hindi & i bet that south indians can't speak good hindi which our mother tongue....shame on an india.

I think such comments by T. India is silly, i think T. India should concenc on playing better and let the bat and ball talk but there only T. India players talk, BCCI should control this

Why talking about Kachua Gavaskar?
by Murli Devi on Feb 29, 2012 11:42 AM  | Hide replies

The meaning of Gavaskar is exactly opposite of Kohli. Kohli means flurry of runs, while Gavasker means snail paced run scoring, making record of slowest run rate in world! Gavaskar kind of people should be better remembered for spoiling Indian cricket with politics and regionalism.

Comparing Gavaskar with Kohli!!!!! Kohli is not ready for that my dear friend.Just think about world class fast bowlers of that era...Scoring against the W.Indian Quickies even at on sub-continental flat wickets were a difficult task.Pls don`t compare great people of different era.I don`t understand the logic that for praising somebody today, you need to degrade a GREAT of the past.

Hehehe, batting legends like Gavaskar, Vishwanath used to play against most dreaded bowlers without helmets and body padding, and scored magnificent centuries on wet and wild pitches (pitches were not covered then).

question for all Bird-trained Sachin fanatics
by Against Fools on Feb 29, 2012 11:33 AM  | Hide replies

Why Sachin didnt perform in do or die situations in all the World cups he played ?

WC 2011 - Final against SRILANKA - 18 runs - India won due to efforts of Gambhir and Dhoni

WC 2003 - In the finals of 2003 ICC World Cup against Australia Sachin scored four runs and India lost by 125 runs .

WC 2007 - Knockout match against Srilanka - Sachin was out for duck

WC 1999 - Last match in super sixes against NEW ZEALAND which was knock out - 16 runs

WC 1996 - crucial encounter against Srilanka - could not get India to victory - 65 runs

WC 1992 - crucial against South Africa - 14 runs

If Sachin is the greatest of all times, why he does not have a single instance where he single handedly carried India to victory in a do-or-die match situation in a World cup. Dont boast about Sharjah cup or CB series where he did something on non-significant matches of academic interest.

WC 1996, 2003 and 2011 - who brought India to the finals /semi final? Pl. check the road map. You will know. One needs to win earleir matches in a tournament and then only you reach semi final or final. Virat plays brilliantly ,but that does not mean we forget greats who played for such a long time and consistently doing well. 18000 runs does not come very easily.

Madhav, it means that most of time times, when Sachin did not play well India lost. As he has shown so correctly, Sachin failed in these 6 matches. Out of that 5 were lost badly by India.

Because, bird brains like u still think that Indian cricket is all about Sachin and expect that he needs to perform everytime. Is sachin is to be responsible for all the wins and losses then why have the remaining 10 players. If he performs well, you take him on your head and celebate and when he fails you redicule him like anything. While the rest world wishes that they could have a sachin in their team, only in India we do not treat him with respect.

Good observation fool!
Sachin has not done anything gr8.
You have only done us all proud all thru your life by making gr8 contribution when it required to your family/Soceity and country at large. Keep it up.
You dont event have the face to keep your proper name & you are talking about an Idol par excellence.
Even when you make such nonsense comments on great like sachin you get one benefit. Your ego which was never attained anything worth now gets some response like this from somebody which never in your regular life you can command may be!
