SIDHU AND PLASTER
by Against Fools on Feb 29, 2012 12:10 PM  | Hide replies

Differences between Navjyoth Singh Sidhu and Plaster Baba

1) Sidhu was fearless and brave. Sachin is a coward.

2) Sidhu was of average to good height capable of facing fast bowlers. Sachin is a short guy who cannot face bouncy bowling

2) Sidhu played fast bouncy swing bowling on quality pitches and Spin bowling on slow pitches alike. Sachin is an absolute cropper against quality swing bowling.

3) In crucial do-or-die situations, Sachin is non-dependable. Sidhu had proved he is effective against the most toughest of challenges.

4) Sachin plays for personal milestones. Sidhu played for Team victory.

5) Fanatics in this forum boast of Sachin pyrotechnics in Sharjah and last CB series against weak Australian attacks which lacked crucial fast bowlers and players. If the same oppurtunities were provided to Sidhu, he would have made mince meat of the Aussie attack.

6) Sidhu was the real hero of India. Sachin is the big zero of India who has enjoyed too much of kindness from foolish selectors, brainless section of the public and last but not the least, totally useless Pakistani supporters who disguise as Sachin fans in this forum.

Taklu, he is making up so many things and overdoing it so badly that when in sense, he cannot accept what he said :)
Dont bother replying. Tomorrow he will say that he himself is a better batsman than Sachin.

It was a great while since i saw a parrot who repeats things and has no originality of his own (like SV uncle). You beat him in all aspects (wrong ones of course) :)

bring back Navjoth Sidhu to One Day Cricket Team
by Against Fools on Feb 29, 2012 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

Navjoth Sidhu has got lot of Cricket left in him. Bring him back to Indian cricket team. Sidhu was a fiery batsman compared to SRT. If we are playing SRT, why cant we play Sidhu also.

Sidhu was dropped for a match or two having problems with Azhar/managament (i dont remember). He immediately resigned stating that his dignity would be compromised if he continued with the team....! But he was a great batsman, very aggressive like a lion!
One of his hilarious moments on the field was in Sharjah when he collided with the deadfishfaced Steve Bucknor :)

yes i remember the spat with azhar..and his roomie that tour ganguly got a chance to debut.

and its good he himself retired from the game..instead of people forcing him to retire or because of poor form. btw surprise surprise, the guy just played 51 tests.

Ya, right!! 17 years and only 51 tests old..... That speaks the number of matches that today's player play, if i am not wrong it should be atleast 20 tests an year!!

KUDOS TO NAVJOT SINGH SIDHU
by Against Fools on Feb 29, 2012 11:59 AM

Sidhu is the best batsman India has seen before Kohli. Navjoth Sidhu was never afraid of fast or swing bowling. Remember his pyrotechnics against South Africa on South African soil ? That is the actual manly cricket play. All those who praise Sachin totally forget sidhu's performance. Sidhu is second to none other than Sunil Gavaskar.

Except for yesterday's match, Team India's performance has been terribly dismal. Also, do not count that you have reached the final based on yesterday's match. You have only postponed return tickets by 3-4 days.
If Sri Lanka wins or the match is abandoned, you will have to return on Friday.

Kohli is brightest prospect of Team India who is here to stay for a long time. He has some really good shots and has the ability to score big on difficult surfaces. He should refrain from distractions like giving such statements.
