Look at people begin to crow because we one one match. Look at the TV channels. You would believe we have won the tournament. OK, Kohli played a fabulous innings, but does it really mean we have to go overboard ? Let us hope the Aussies win against Sri Lanka, so that they play us in the final, and lick us again like they have been doing all along this tour. Otherwise we will forget what a pathetic performance we put up all through.

Chatter just grow up.. This is by any yardstick one of the most authoritative wins in odi's. Kohli played like Richards and Lara coming together.. and far better than them at times...
This win is as good as winning the finals.. for the kind of authority India displayed.

Virat is the only positive aspect of this tour to Oz. I have a feeling that now Sachin is no more the best batsman for India now - that position has been taken by Virat.
Malinga kept bowling at his pads - and bowling to his strength. It was tremendous entertainment.

It was a superb show virat&Just SUPERB, Virat! What a fantastic Effort by Virat Kohli& What a Fantastic Win India acheived against Lankans today! NOT Only Virat Kohli, BUT even Sachin&Sehwag and Gambir&Raina MUST be Given CREDIT for this incredible win which would NOT have been Possible if Sehwag&Sachin HAD NOT given an explosive start to the innings. This match shows that India are world champrions and can beat any team if the opponents and umpires do not play dirty tricks as was the case with last match against Australia. This mtach MUST force some of the critics of sachin and Indian team to get drowned in indian ocean perhaps! Now BCCI must force ICC to eliminate errant umpires who make curcial mistakes and BCCI MUST force ICC to behave properly so that ONLT Indian players are made the Victims and punished heavily for small crimes while PLAYERS FROM WHITE SKINNED NATIONS lika UK,australia, south adrica, australia and new zealand are NOT charged or punished even if tehy commit BIG crimes on and off the field. Now BCCCI must show o ICC that they are the masters and NOT behave like slaves as we have been behaving in front of white skinned westerners for more than 500 years NOW, Shame BCCI that you behave still a sslaves of crooked westerners!

That is fine but does not matter really because Kohli & Raina & also Gambhir were scoring at more than 10 an over.. Starting with a 39 or ending unfinished is not important.. we have to see through to victory which Virat has accomplished in the most superb way.. No Sachin or anyone could have accomplished that given this situation..

1. Thank Sachin, Sehwag for the good start. They could have done better, but they never did better in this series till now......
2. Thank Kohli for the explosive innings.
3. Thank Gambhir, who as usual, is the unsung hero.
4. Thank Raina for coming back to his usual self.
5. Thank our captain cool because he left Raina to do the job instead of coming and playing his "usual" defense style leaving the other batsmen to do the hard work.
6. Hope we start playing as a team again. Let us not forget that we won the WC last year by Team work.
7. Finally, for the people who call this match as fixed, "EAT MY SHORTS BLOODYPAKIS"

Main reason for victory was team didn't allowed Dhoni to bat else he would have dragged thing by his cool batting to 40th over.

for him to show his coolness we have to first get into difficult situations...this did not happen today...thats why dhoni has to play coolly most of the times....that is because the top order flounders very often and we need him to see us through...this is one of those times when we played well from the start and there was no quick fall of wickets...

thats why not the usual pressure on dhoni to see that no further wickets fell...

BTW if he had come early instead of say raina, then you would have said that it is because we were winning that he came early to remain not out...

If he had come early today, we would have won the match, sure. But not with a bonus point :)

Dhoom India

This should be one of the best run chases in the history of cricket , Sri Lanka with a big score the whole of Sri Lanka would have been celebrating till the Indians shattered their dreams. This would make many Australians think do we want to play this team which has just shown what it is capable of doing , which is impose an overwhelming victory. Not many teams nowadays can respond in such a fashion , Pak lost 4-0 in the one days for the so called home series Dubai pitches are more friendlier to Pak then their own, the 20 -20 match was so bad tha Pak could have won it with names like Afridi, Misbah all they had to do was connect bat to ball and the match would have won , They were trying hard to do justice to their sponsors BOOM BOOM by wanting to play Boom Boom Style but it was JOOM JOOM is what they achieved. From Afridi to Captain even in the previous 20 -20 match there was this left hander he is also a spinner the amount of JOOM the entire team did , it definitely called for a Qawali song in the back ground Joom barabar.
India Thou DHOOM Machata hai.
