Why should we give importance a person who is banned from commentary for a racist comment against Amla. Was he himself a decent player? Reg Kapil we all know how he prolonged his career to break hadlee's record. A 50% sachin is always better than 100% rohit or raina or jadeja. Are these players still youngsters even after playing more than 50 ODI's. CSK must be slapping themselves for paying huge amount to a non performer like jadeja.

yogesh are YOU a decent player to comment on dean jones? who by the way was one of the very few players who had average of 50 in both tests and odis for a long period of time...

exactly and who was a great fielder and gave a new meaning to running between wkts esp in ODIs. If people (read blind fans of Sachin) think that former cricketers can comment on Sachin only if they have scored more runs than him, then there's no one in the world. And BTW, that attitude smells of arrogance from the fans - when the man himself is not arrogant, then why have such an attitude from the fan!

Please see beyond your Sachin bhakti! First of all why compare Jadeja with Sachin? He's a bowling allrounder, not a top order batsman. Kapil was performing till retirement, in fact a knee injury made him retire. Having said that, let's look at Sachin's requirement in the team objectively. He's certainly over the hill and needs to take a call. Better to end a glorious career on a high. Take a leaf out of the careers of Lara, Warne, Mcgrath or Gavaskar.

yogesh: As per indian fans, sachin is G o d of cricket.. So how come now u r comparing him with mere mortals like raina, rohit, jadeja or anyone else. So does it mean that his standards too have fallen so low that he is just another cricketer... Also do not forget that his name is being considered for the country's top honour... Hence if so much is at stake and if that person can't live upto the expectations then its time to leave...
shri All Cricket Guruji...This is his first series after world cup...So it is possible that any player can fail in one series...Is that the criteria to Drop...
Or is this the only national priority???
Here non performer MAN mohan is sitting on your head years after year who is doing the real damage...no has guts to speak about it..

this is what you call as blind support and probably you come from the same place as srt. Is this his first series after WC? four tests each against England and Australia and now the tri-series. All complete flop.

We are talking about 1 dayers...In Tests he was 2nd best after Kohli...so no question about tests...

vow...in singapore even beggars have computer? otherwise how would surya das post his comments?
just for this cancerous disease called money. Look at our Sri Lankan players.Though their payment was delayed they are playing with spirit for the country and this is what you call true love for the game. Hats of to Mahela, Sanga and even the new comers who are greater than the so called gretas in Indian team.

i partly agree with u.... if some indian players were to be docked off their match fee I do not think they would have bothered to show their face on the pitch...

sinhalese..it seems you have not much to do in your sinalese land, so why are you bothered about our lot? simply put *mind your own business* and by the way, manage your money and players well
flat pitches in mirpur. Here scorecard against bangladesh Sachin tingu 150 runs made centruy before some days left in 1 year when he made last century virender sehwag again made 200 against paki. gambhir, kohli, raina made centuries in flat pitches of bangladesh. All are happy media, supporters they are hero after this series till 2013 december. So team india bashers this is right time when you tell about sachin tingu retirement, sehwag and dhoni banned.

what u have written is a well known secret in indian cricket. This game thrives in India bcoz of the money that it brings... I am sure our board will arrange for a series with bangla or zimbabwe on our home soil and all our so called heroes and Gods will start scoring in tons.... and the perennially gullible indian fan will start singing praises of their hollow stars...
Many sachin fans give a common non-sense argument that people who have not played international cricket should not ask sachin to retire. This is strange. Everyone have his own job and responsibilities in his field. If a person doesn't perform, he is bound to face criticism not only from people of his own field, but other fields too. Today we call MMS as being weak PM, does that mean that all of us have proved to be better PM than him? Its all about the responsibility of holding an important position. Everyone should think logically.

what about dhoni..miserable form in tests. same with raina and gambhir. what about jadeja? he is there for all ODIs but total is less than 50
Re: Re: form
by Ravi Iyer on Feb 25, 2012 05:36 PM
why are you comapring Sachin with Jadeja? He's not Ajay Jadeja but Ravindra Jadeja, who's a bowling allrounder, not a top order batsman. We are discussing ODIs, not tests here. So keep your analysis and arguments apples-apples.
