Nope. He was still doing quite well with his bowling when chappel fancied the possibility of him being an all rounder and then he forgot how to bowl.

Agreed. MS can give gloves to Parthiv and he can play as pure batsman and since he is young he can field instead of wicketkeeping.
MS is neither fair nor intelligent. He is in touch with greg in Australia. That's why again the Senior players problem arised. He doing all this with the direction of Greg in Australia.

Pity on bvvp prasad, I dont know why u people are still rolling Greg chappels head. If, Australians sack Ponting, u call it professionalism. If Greg, asks for perfomance, its arrogance. Whats the basic problem with u guys.

greg chappell and dhoni are two of our most important persons responsible for india becoming no. 1 in all formats of the game at some point of time...that is why they are being abused the most....
sachin is the one who has done the least of all in the indian team....that is why he is so idolised...

MSD is not a loser...but SRT is stealing credits of other 10 players performances for the last 2 decades...of course i dont blame him for that because he has never done that...it is his blind fanatics who have done that...
He is a great swing bowler in arctic/antartic conditions. But, unfortunately cricket is not played there. Nearly, after 8 years of International exposure, he has neither come successful with the bat nor the ball. But, now he is the hope of the allrounder in the Indian team. Excellent bench strength of the Indian team with Ravindra Jadeja as his supporting allrounder. But IPL is always for us, so u guys need not worry.

look. He was adjudged the best up and coming young player by ICC about 4-5 years back. Suddenly he lost his form and was sidelined ... for a long time. (Politics??). And armchair critics like RB have a field day. Sucks man!!

FYI-If Greg Chapped had how promoted him as a batsman, he would have not even earned a penny in IPL. Irfan will definitely thank Greg Chappel for prolonging his career, which people like u wont understand.
The guy was out of reckoning for 2 years & was called back on tour to Australia.He just played one inning in last ODI which was not match winning & he is facing camera to address media.This shows the mindset of publicity hungry cricketers of team India who are devoid of substance.BCCI & Team management is responsible for this mess & I don't see any future for TI unless BCCI changes its approach to game than considering as money making machine.

Irfan bowls at more than 160 Kms/Hr speed which terrorized the world. Hence, he was taken out of the team on request from ICC considering the safety of batsman around the world.
He should get the chance - is deserving player should be considered and groomed for 2015 worldcup. A hardworking & humble person wo much support . A victim of dirty politics still never speaks against board or culprits.
Irfan Pathan is the only self proclaimed all rounder in the world who is neither a batting all rounder nor a bowling allrounder nor a fielding allrounder. Then how???This happens only in India. Jai Hooo.
He is much much superior to R.Jadeja.. I dont know why Dhoni always prefer Jadeja over Pathan, for instance in the last match, i would have sent Pathan ahead of Jadeja when the asking rate was over 6.
