So do these nuts include people who read cricket related articles and post their reviews?
are the only reasons we watch criket...not for dravid or laxman...earlier i cud include ganguly and well before him in early day ..it was srikanth... i still remember sitting late nights or waking up at 2 00 am to watch srikkanth bat, he being an opener and flashy there was so much u cud miss if u r not in time!.. anyway..let sachin is a great man and sehwag is purely temparamental...drop sehwag from the team as a punishment..let sachin decide for himself..if he wants to play let him...on any day he will score better than many of average performers......

Let Sachin decide when he retires but Let the selectors decide when to drop him.Anyways,it's not easy to forego scores of crores of Rupees.What will you do when you know that you will earn Crores by continuing another year ? Even Kapil Dev dragged for 2 Yrs and denying Srinath well deserved chance to play for India.

All the good work done by Sachin over the last 21 years got washed away in the last 3-4 months. He could have retired after the WC 2011 win and be remembered as a batting maestro who was in the Indian World cup win of 2011 but he didnt do that. Now people all over the world are making fun of him. Even though he is a batting maestro, he is obviously not a fortune turn around man for India now nor he was ever a crucial match winner. Any match if you take in the past when we had high hopes on him playing a match winning knock, he would get dismissed cheaply. But Sachin is nowhere near the greats of Viv Richards, Sobers and Bradman and Lara who had their batting change the teams fortunes many times. If Lara had played the same number of matches or years as Sachin, Sachin would be nowhere in the record books. Infact the Indian selectors were too lenient on him by not dropping him inspite of his poor show with batting for a couple of years when he was made captain. At that time, his scores never reached 20 in many games. But truth is there are so many dead brains in this forum who want Sachin to play till 60. Actually those people are Pakistanis who need to be assembled at a common location outside Parliament and sent to Pakistan in a special flight.

Any statistician will buy or keep the commodity when its short term avg is above its long term avg. And will drop the commodity when its short term avg is less than its long term avg.

ponting is great...but he played for a no 1 team all his careeer...sachin played for india...the oneman army who singlehandedly took the indian team for atleast 10 to 13 years...he ws the reason y u r watchin indian cricket at its glory nowadays...it ws sachins indian team for other countries even if he ws nt the captain...well i knw wat i witnessed ....
sachin denied Robin uthappa chance after 2007 world cup...he blamed uthappa when everyone failed in that world cup....he then requested ambani to take uthappa in MI team and then he made him middle order batsman as he didnt want threat to his place as opener that time..after that he became injured in 2008 and despite good showing by uthappa in challenger trophy and domestic season in 2008-09 he asked selectors to use makeshift openers like kohli kartik,rohit sharma and hence ruined youngsters career...this made side effect on uthappa and his performance got down due to lack of spirit in domestics....what kind of politics is it.

any player can make 48 centuries in he plays more than 450 matches...1 century in 10 match is it consistency?? out of 48 8 centuries in 1998 in india so in 20 years only 40 centuries means 2 centuries per year...thats not hard to make

Sudhakar, funny but true.... At this moment, only Sachin & Pathan have more than 150 wickets in ODIs :) Only after Dhoni became captain, Sachin is not made to bowl frequently.
If anybody who is watching indian matchescarefully ahve you noticed any day, how many time dhoni managed t reach to stumps when fielder is throwing back ball when batsmnen were running for extra run? i am afraid to say hardly. Those who have doughts on this please go and watch highlights of all the matches where dhoni was wicketkeeper, we paid huge cost in the match against Aus where bicause of his lazyness we missed two runouts. And this is not the first time, everytime its is like that only. I fully agree if somebody says sehwag is careless, but if you have watched dhoni's wickets in test matches he was clueless (Technically ). He has no rights to call anybody Slow as he himself is sleeps on field both phisically as well as in mind.

Thats fine, but that can happen only if you manage to middle the ball. or else he will keep nicking it with his technique. And if you talk abot running between the wickets there is no better player than Sacin in this team who judge the run and completes it with running out himself or his partners
It is time to bid farewell to sachin,Laxman & Dravid from all form of games while Sehwag & Rohit along with Jadeja should be asked to play domestic cricket & make runs to qualify for any format of game.Dhoni should be captain for only ODI while test captain-ship should be assigned to Gambhir & Raina for T20
