It does not matter what he did last year. But in this series at home his performance is dismal. And Australians are very professional. They have to build a team form 2015. They can't waste time. So, Good Bye Ponting.

What about Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid? When they will pave for youngsters to get chance.

Unlike our fans and selectors, who look at the players performance in 2003-04 to justify his place in the team in 2012..

any great players career has to end one day. The player should understand the breakeven point and leave, instead of forcing themselves on the team without performing in the fag end of career to avoid embarrassing themselves. It happened with ponting and I hope sachin understands this.
