Don't talk rubish. Aussies selectors showed guts,unlike their Indian counterparts, to drop Ponting, will Srikant and co dare to do that and tell Sachin bye bye. No way, because of the corporate people want Sachin in all the time and BCCI big bosses will listen to those who put so much money into the game.
ponting record as captain then he is much much much better then sachin tingu,shameless sehwag and gambhir.If they dropped out then why not these player.If BCCI cannot take these steps then like our indian govt. some persons now operate this selfish or money hungry agency.

Australia always had good bowlers and good consistent players , Managing a well talented team and leading to success is not that difficult.. But it was ganguly who took the team from no place to top... Go and check his captaincy records in foreign tours..

but guru greg chappel selected by bcci and team india captain why did saurav chandidas ganguly exit from team india in 2006.During his captainship team india lost final world cup 2003,champions trophy 2000,2004 and win by combined in 2002 not individual.How did he become best captain.He win 16 consecutive win in test like steve waugh and sir ponting.

Who is "Sourav Chandidas Ganguly"? We know of a certain Sourav Ganguly, btw, not all Indians are forced to insert their dad's name like you guys.
a big high profile player of team india.SOme internal support of bcci helped him to play again and again after shameless performance.This type of nepotism also present in team india.SHame shame

How did bcci and lobby of cricket india give answer to advertiser and broadcaster when viewers are low then sachin tingu or sehwag not play in match.
Both Sachin and Sehwag have been perfect examples of how some people can get lucky at the hands of the media and the nation. Inspite of the whole nation knowing that Sachin aim is only to score his 100th ton not worrying if India win or lose, his place in the playing eleven is taken for granted. Sehwag inspite of playing below par than an average school kid still manages to find his place in the side and even become a captain. India should be proud of having such useless brainless selectors and playing eleven picking group. Sachin can score only on Flat pitches where the ball doesnt rise above knee level. He is not fit to be called as a legend and nowhere near to Bradman or Sobers or Lara. Bradman or Sobers have had their performances somehow effecting win for their teams but India inspite of having SRT in the team comes a cropper every time the team tours Australia or South Africa or England. Whenever there is a crucial juncture in the game, Sachin cannot deliver. Has he ever carried India to victory while chasing at 7 runs an over against a quality team like Australia or South Africa. He was always happy opening the batting and building his records. Even his commitment needs to be questioned on the fact that he skipped the tough WI tour. Its long time Sachin is thrown the door. Ponting is a far better player than Sachin. Ponting is still agile on the field and scores well once he gets his form right. But this shameless Sachin is a dinosaur on the field and cant score again

i think u have forget last austrelian tour of india when sachin one handedly won at leat 3 matche for india. and dont go far away in world cup he is the heighest run scorer.

dear parashant, we are not talking the past we all know what sachin done in past as well ponting they (ausies) dropped him on his current form, not the basis of history
and plz, Yuvraj singh is the highest run scorer in world cup not sachin
