Sachin is a waste guy now. Atleast the young players got some experience even if India lost today's game. But Sachin has enormous experience but what is the use if he scoring 5-10 runs every match.

Stop biased reporting as you can not fool the readers. The author says, "The worst performers were Awana and Piyush Chawla."
Really? Lets look at the stastistics:
* Dinda was most expansive (4-0-1-44-11.50) * Awana 2nd most expansive (4-0-0-42-10.50) * Asswin 3rd most expansive (4-0-0-38-9.50) * Chawla 4th most expansive (4-0-0-31-7.75) * Yuvraj most impressive bowler (4-0-3-17-4.25)
From which angle was Awana and Chawla worst performers? No doubt, they both had poor performance but the figures of Dinda and Asswin are worse. Figures don't lie. Why are you trying to shield useless Asswin?

Chawla was the worst performer in the entire series, not just the last game.
He was bowling as specialist spinner along side Yuvraj in middle overs with no field restriction.
And Yuvraj picked up 3 wickets wih around 4.5 rpo and Chawla got none for 7.75 rpo.
Also Chawla has about 30 interntaionl games under his belt..

Time to kick out our useless pace bowlers! shame dhoni did not use rahul sharma or raina when fast bowlers were getting thrashed around!

You make a valid point. Couple of tidy overs in the middle from Raina or Rohit Sharma would have done the trick. Indian fast bowlers don;t pack a punch and regular spinners are very ordinary.
Time for experimenting is over. Asswin has turned out to be a total failure. He was the least effective spinner among both teams. Bring back Harbhajan Singh, India's ace spinner with 400 wickets. Stop the politics NOW!

Your comments stink of regionalism and do not reflect the performance on the field. People like you are the reason why we have to put up with this deadwood Asswin in the team.

You talk about regionalism? HA You the one who is always out to prove that Yuvraj and Harbhajan, both from Punjab are the best players in India for every format....

performance on the field, so many years u r keeping sachin in, whereas robin singh, badrinath,vijay, dinesh karthik are not given chances, becoz of south india

How many overs was he given to bowl and at what time. Harbhajan got half of the overs given to Asswin and Ojha in Mumbai. He was fired for what? Not been selected for Kolkatta test and not given opportunity to succeed by Dhon(b)i?
How conveniently you forgot the five wickets Harbhajan took against full strength England in T20 World Cup 2012 in Srilanka?
And look at his figures from Ranji game yesterday - he took three key wickets to have Gujarat reeling on their home grounds.

Just think about it. Harbhajan was obviously forced in to the team by regionalist selectors and their pity politics. ANd captain had no faith in Harbhajan. Very obvious why Harbhajan was not given as many overs and I don't blame anyone as Bhajan is utter failure over the last couple three years..
