Morgan was listening to the pathetic terrible one sided commentary of Saurav in last 5 overs. Morgan hit that last ball for 6 in direction of comm. box. would have been nicer if it hit Saurav on his head. such unashamed bias from former india captain.

saurav was the man behind revolution of indian cricket,,under his captaincy only india became a strong super power in cricket and it was later carried on by MSD.
the match was lost due to captaincy.. he had no ideas ..field placing poor.. keeping was below average!. please understand ..as long as u purchase tkt, u contribute to the purse of BCCI who in turn is concerned only for minting money. Dhoni is club cricketer and is shielded by the BCCI. so the result for the Pak series is clear...we loose

I agree for the first part of your comment. Dhoni looks out of ideas in test matches. Develop a young test team under someone more dynamic like Virat Kohli.
I don't agree with your second assessment that Dhoni should be allowed to continue in T20 or ODI as captain.
Even in this game, he relied on his CSK bosom buddy Asswin and did not introduce Yuvraj earlier. Deadwood Asswin ended up giving 38 runs in his four overs with no wicket.
His second mistake was not using Raina and Rohit for 2-4 overs in the middle to slow down the run rate.
Third mistake he made was that he ran out of options in the end and gave last four overs to inexperienced bowlers Dinda and Awana.
His field placements were poor again and English batsmen found it easy to find gap between Indian fielders. In comparison, the English field placement was exact and our batsmen always found a fielder.
Should he be allowed to continue because you feel sorry for him?

I think you misunderstand me as Cricket India fan.
I support giving chances to young players and I think players like Pujara, Rahane, Unmukt Chand, Jiwanjot, Sandeep Sharma, and Harmeet Singh are the future of Indian Cricket.
Harbhajan needs to earn his place in the team but his replacements have been total failures.
I have no sympathy for players who get in the team because of their connections - Asswin, Jadeja, Chawla, etc. I am also not a big fan of Dhoni as captain because he is clueless in reading the pitch, team selection, bowling changes, and field placements.

chawla is too young, like a baby....it will take time for him to grow....i think till the nxt world cup....he will be the strike bowler
ONE OF THE BEST CRICKET MATCHES I HV WATCHED OVER MY LIFETIME....SUCH A NAIL BITING FINISHER...A FITTING END TO THE GREATEST SERIES OF THE MILLENNIUM......TAKE A BOW .....LOVING CRICKETERS
After India won the first 20 overs match, the press went on prospects of India sweeping the series. Exactly similar reaction when India won the first test match. We all know what happened there after. Same thing happened here. Seems to me most of the players are there with out motivation. IPL makes them rich after 12 weeks or so. Hence 20 overs and test matches for them is not rewarding. Shame how IPL has spoiled the Gentlemen's sport of Cricket. Unless cricket crazy Inidan public totally avoid IPL, the BCCI will continue on this policy of piracy.
