A captain is only as good as his team. What Dhoni can do if senior players play politics. If Srikkanth is an expert, then let him say where Dhoni has gone wrong - let him analyse. Asking for his head is nothing but knee jerk re-action. What is the guarantee that a Gambhir or a Kohli will succeed where Dhoni has failed? By the way, what was Srikkanth's contribution to Indian cricket and how he became the Chairman of Selectors? It is only because of N. Srinivasan.

No Dhoni is not a junior. But cricket is a team game and the 11 have to gel as a team. If individuals play for their personal record and run out the others who are in form, then that definitely is politics.

Then why do you garland him when the team wins instead of repeating the same "But cricket is a team game" mantra?
All credit to Dhongi when the team wins and all brickbats to the "BOYS" when it loses?

Does he want a Murali Vijay or S. Badrinath to become the Captain of Indian team or his other favourite, Wridhiman Saha?

When Dhoni was nominated as Captain, he had no prior experience leading any side! Remember that any of the persons named by you can also captain India if they perform regularly and show discipline and commitment.

When team wins it is Dhoni who wins and when it loses, it is the others! Even in Bangladesh or Zimbabwe they will change the captain after such massive losses without any contribution as captain!

India is a free country and all are free to give their opinions (as valueless they may be), so Mr. Srikanth is also free to open his wide mouth and do all the "bakwaas"

Yes, nobody can match Dhoni's value. But it has to be justfied with cricket, not with commercials.
K shrikant himself failed most miserably in 1989 test series against Pakistan and again against New Zealand in 1990 both as a captain and as a batsman. he has no moral right to say anything ,cauz he was worst captain after Kapil Dev to led India.

Does it really matter about the quality of choice of replacement when defeat is guaranteed?

You mean to say out of 120 crore Indians there is no one available to replace him? That is kidding. Watch domestic cricket (not IPL) and you will know who are the competitors.
It is very easy for Srikkanth now to preach about removing Dhoni as captain.what was he doing when Mohinder asked the same a few months ago. Some hypocrite./
