I have evidence to rpove this match was fixed. Dhoni purposely asked them to play slow on day 4 morning session and all of a sudden with last wicket in hand chose to declare innings because how many runs india will score was fixed and also which team shall take lead was also fixed. All of you who watch match are fools. This is CIRCUS run by the briains from abroad.

Your so called evidence makes you the biggest fool. What can poor Dhoni do when he does not have command over hischelas, forget team mates?
Why blame Dhoni or other indian players, dude???WHEN UMPIRES ARE PLAYING FOR YOU YOU CAN BEAT ANY SIDE in the world, right??? how much dhrmasena and tucker have taken from trott and brits is the big question now!dhramasena saved trott twice when he was out twice, but gave not out!in mumbai test paki aleem dar and tony hill played for brits and won the match for the brits!shame BCCI has not put pressure on icc to punish or ban umpires making wrong decisions so far! if dharmasena had not played for brits,India would have won the Test already! what a shame!

My Dear Friend, It was India who did not go for UDRS.I am not supporting anyone but for this colossal failure, only Team India should be blamed collectively. It is also obvious that skipper will get most of the blame in general.England played better cricket & India played poor cricket. That's it according to me.

OH is it?.. How about this?.. Cook was not out both the innings..and We shamelessly made an issue out of trtt appeal which was clearly not out.. Kohli is the most obnoxious sportsman.. hope they dont give the captainy to him.. Captain should also be a good ambassador of the game..

Just excuses for a poor show. The umpires were equally wrong to both sides. Just tell BCCI to spend money for DRS.
Ashwin has more wisdom than seniors. I see him becoming better a better player than Ravi Shastri. Remember Ravi was a special boy of Bombay mafia who was flown to join the team in NZ. Ashwin has earned his place. He may not be a Murali or Prassanna. But he is a learner.

what inexperience ...it is you people who are wrong and dont understand...
see if we declared immediately with 30 runs behind it gets added to the 4th innings target only increasing the pressure if wickets are lost...
it is better that we get rid of deficit from first innings only...and we have to do it without losing wickets otherwise the lead will remain..and as it is run making was difficult so how can one expect that 30 runs be knocked off in good time ...that too when england bowled negatively and wasted time as a tactical move...

in any case, ashwin batted well & faster than many of your fathers like sachin, dhoni, kohli, etc. ashwin is a batsman and not a bowler.

ashwin is an allrounder...he has 60 wickets in 11 tests and he is NOT a bowler? are you serious?

ojha and ashwin have done very well for india since they came in the team...they have ably replaced bhajji and kumble...even kumble and bhajii were not as succesful as these 2 when they first came and did not help india so many matches as these 2 have done...in case you dont know it let me tell you...ashwin has 60 wkts in 11 tests and he has been a part of 5 test wins while ojha 94 wickets in 19 tests and helped india win 12 of them...bhajji and kumble were not as succesful when they first came in and neither did they help india so many tests in so little time...

do youself a favour and let me know the averages and countries (and their ranking) against which Ashwin has bowled. Also check home and away statistics. It is a pity that he is often picked over Ashwin due to India Cements and Dhoni's favoritism.

i know their home and away records...they are not all that bad...besides they will get experience and improve...and btw kumble and bhajji were also not successful always abroad...there are ups and down in careers of everybody...
Dhoni is not quite sure whether his seniors will let stand up to save the team in the 2nd inning. That is why he opted to level scores. With the kind of bad blood that is flowing all around he has reasons to be apprehensive.
First six overs to be shared by Ishant and Ojha; Next six overs to be shared by Ashwin and Chawla; Next four overs by Jadeja and Sehwag; Next six overs by Ishanth and Ojha. Next six overs by Ashwin and Chawla; Next four overs by Jadeja and Sehwag. And continue the sequence as before.
Dhoni is not to give any instruction or set the field anytime from the time Indians take the field.
Bowlers to be given complete leeway and allowed to stretch their roles to expand ball variations (setting the field for themselves) as they like.
Total Delegation and Complete Trust are the Mantras.
We have played (made name for ourselves ?) by making so-called 'TACTICAL', 'STRATEGIC' and 'CONVENTIONAL' bowling changes and field settings with such monotonous periodicity inviting accolades/criticisms for too long that breaking it during this momentous but inconsequential stage with a totally unconventional pattern of LEADERSHIP will not be out of place and time.
