Our legends turned commentators - ravi , sunny , sanjay were absolutely silent on tendulkar after his dsimissal. but today they were telling everybody that even Viv has echoed what they been telling. No mention about the lack of skills.

no, in tests when the bowlers are attacking , field is attacking he will not open. He will come in at4 after the pace & nature of the pitch has been gauged . In ODIs field & bowlers are defensive so as an opener he will get the opportunity to play for his records.

go study the records in AUSTRALIA nobody was ready to open INNINGS with SIDHU as OPENER SACHIN offered himself to open and since then he is OPENING the INNING in ODI except when that GUNGULY forced himdown the line

Refused to Open, what do u mean by that.. If opening in ODIs is so easy, we would have had all best best batsmen opening for their teams in the world. In ODIs also, it was by chance that he started to Open otherwise he is not an Opener.. since he was successful, team continued open innings with him. Take any country, in Test Matches or ODIs usually openers are specialists..

he does not know CRICKET BESR BATSMAN in a TEAM COMES always one down this is general rule for CRICKET in tests

which means he never was the best batsman. Earliar Dravid in tests & ODIs & NowKohli & Pujara have been coming one down.
Viv i can recall the same situation that happened to u when u were dragging ur career, but WI selectors took a bold cal by dropping u...Sachin should think abt giving a chance to youngsters, look at mahela quitting captaincy to groom mathews, when does tendulkar leave his selfishness...?? its all the non sense created by BCCI , they have made him greater than game and country....

That bold call proved extremely costly for west indies cricket. Its been almost 20 years since viv retired but, therbhas never ben a viv again born in any other country not just west indies. I would have say he was and is h greatest west indian batsman even when you compare him with lara. Even at 50 years, if he plays with hisvleft hand, he would qualify ahead of a lot of existing batsman for a place in the test team. So, bette respect his views. Same can be said when people complained about kapil at theend of his career. But, its been 19 years since kapil retired but, india is yet to find a bowler,- forget about an all rounder to this day.

Sachin will definitely prove his worth bfore he retires.. The entire Indian team is going thru a lean patch.. Y blame lil master alone for the collective failure..??!

so you mean to say that everyone is equal in stature. either SRT is an ordinary cricketer like other 10 in the team or they are also equally of his stature given to him by the people bought over by board.
Re: self call

the rot has set in & the greatest is responsible for it. all the sr players have taken their performance for granted. perform once in 25-30 innings & sit tight for next 50 inninigs as has been done by tendya over the years.

Hmmmm. By your calculation Tedlya has scored about 2500 runs in his career. Excellent!! Unless you are saying he scored 800 runs in every 30th innings. ;-)
The no. of people ,who switch off the T V as ssson as tendya comes into bat & switch it on back as soon as he is out , is growing by the day. Thankfully they don,t miss the action much as it is for a very short period- in a matter of minutes
