Big partenership-big relief
by Vattem Krishnan on Dec 15, 2012 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

Crowd went home desperately as Dhoni missed century for attempting for a run that was not there.yet crowd at Nagpur must have felt happy eventhough Indians are still trailing behind Englands winnable first innings score. It is uncertain that tail end wickets will be able to wag tail long to surpass England's score.what becomes important how England will play for most of the 4th day.will they play for draw?In any case England has already win the series if India is contended to draw the match. If England can bowl England in 100 overs tomorrow and bat there will be result as scoring 250 on last day depends on the confidence of Mr Sehwag and the batting line up of India.

Not only Crowd was desperate..
With their form and contribution Dhone and Kohli do not even deserve a place in the team..
Now with this desperate and useless knock they have cemented their place for another two years...

Desperate and Useless Knock ...like the one which sehwag plays once every 20-30 Innings and known as Impact player...and saves his place as well

SACHIN SHOULD RETIRE NOW
by Sibsankar Sengupta on Dec 15, 2012 06:22 PM  | Hide replies

Our great selectors should now ask Sachin to step down because it seems Sachine will not go down from its own.

If Sachin does not retire honorably, he should be dropped! Not by the fielder, but by the Indian Jokers

Ya, Thanks to the most selfish innings by Dhoni & kohli by playing for themselves & to be in the team forever. Even though i agree the situation demanded it. But still i felt atleast after lunch break drinks they should have broken the shakles & played freely. If they would have done so then England bowlers would have find more difficulty in taking wickets later vich dey did.

the problem with Indian cricket is that though only 11 Indians play on the field, millions like skanda acharya play in their dreams by posting non sense on rediff. There is a saying in Hindi that Bandar kya jaaane adrak ka swad....it aapplies to your understanding of the romance of Test cricket.

How is it when Sachin was criticized for playing such 'selfish innings' in test matches also? :) Enjoying the payback my friends? So, can we also jump to conclusions that when Kohli plays, India loses? Or that Dhoni is a horrible captain? I dont think such statements are sensible..... What say?

Hi Prerna, if i post this nonsense, then the same applies to u. For ur understanding & information, I am a firm believer in this type of test cricket. But the way series has been progressed for india & this team is not playing for win but to keep their places so that they can continue with poor form for more matches hurt not only me but to all indians. I also hope you would have got hurt somewhere by this but u r not expressing. Also this is not the first time we are seeing our players perform like this, so it hurts me more

its not selfish innings, the pitch is not conducive to play shots. Its fine, but the regret is why they apply themselves so hard only when you are down and out. Kohli has this habit of playing only when he is about to sink. He is likely to get the captaincy from Dhoni, thats for sure. He has done team some benefit, but for himself the biggest post.

well, what you said in so many words has been replaced by the word "selfish".
