I was less pissedoffon this team when they lost 8-0..... Losing on home soil is worse thansuicide, specially when it was our stronghold!! Dont you think so?

yes,no doubt.see the reply of Sehwag run out.Anybody will doubt it's deliberately done,Gambhir watching the ball and Sehwag running three fourth of pitch without seeing Gambhir rooted to the crease?
what is the main objective of Mohinder? To mentally disintegrate the Indian team before the crucial test tomorrow? Senior citizens like him shoul know for anything there's an appropriate forum & time.

Sir, waisebhithis team is no good. Dint we see in Australia when Dhoni-Sehwag-Gambhir were involved in mud-slinging against each other......
But as you say, the timing is very bad. I guess Amarnath senses that the only way to take revenge on BCCI.

I beg to differ with you.India losing mainly bcas of batting failure. If this team plays with real team spirit,I don't think England can win so easily.India batting is strong and it's the division which is causing damage.

100% agree with you about the batting failure. Though bowling dept was not good, batsmen are more at fault.
But I was speaking about the attitude they displayed in Aus when these 3 gave comments on each other in front of the media, which were not at all needed when the team was suffering. I guess the last time they played "AS A TEAM" was in the world cup.

There we always go wrong. We always blame our batting line up as it is more strong compared to bowling but we cannot fully depend only on batting. Just compare IND previous test & SA-AUS last test. SA scored only 225 in first inning, but their bowlers made sure that AUS don't get away with the match and bowled out AUS for mere 163, That really gave confidence to SA batsmen and they scored mammoth 500 in their second inning. Whereas Indian bowlers allowed oppenent to get away with the match by allowinf them to score 500 . Indian bowling is currently the worst in all cricket playing nations. Mr. Ashwin is our frontline bowler, his duty is to take wickets, but what he has done in last 3 series

in any event it exposes how msd still survives. can sunny , shastri etc ever say the things that amarnath told.
Re: Re: Re: shikari-ji
by Shikari Shambu on Dec 12, 2012 06:20 PM
I agree that Gavaskar or Ravi Shastri or other such guys will not say all such things openly. But Amarnath could have waited for the end of the series (I feel).

even now as most likely amarnath is saying the truth , u can guarantee that shastri sunny being bcci paid will not say amarnath was correct. such is the sad state of affairs

First, Cementvasan has to quit as BCCI head, or CSK owner. Then, clean the test team of Sachin/Dhoni/Zaheer/Bhajji.

indian ckt is run by sreenivasn msd srt. SRT may be lesser extent now after his yr long flop show
in last 2 years 2011 and 2012 dhoni has played 19 tests 33 innings 4 not out 859 runs 29.62 average 144 highest 100s-1 50s-7 batting position 7
in last 2 years 2011 and 2012 gambhir has played 16 tests 29 innings 0 not out 907 runs 31.27 average 93 highest 100s-0 50s-7 batting position opener
in last 2 years 2011 and 2012 sehwag has played 15 tests 28 innings 0 not out 889 runs 31.75 average 117 highest 100s-1 50s-5 batting position opener
in last 2 years 2011 and 2012 kohli has played 13 tests 24 innings 2 not out 788 runs 35.81 average 116 highest 100s-2 50s-5
tell me what is the difference between sehwag gambhir kohli and dhoni that mohinder is making such a big noise about?
the stats above clearly expose mohinder. he wants like any regional selector to have players from his region in the team and in important positions. he wants players like sehwag, gambhir, kohli and mishra in the team and as captains or vice captains if he can manage that. according to him dhoni has no technique etc. to play in test cricket...mohinder if that is so then how do you explain that he has matched your favourite quality test players like sehwag gambhir kohli in stats...that too coming so low down the order... mohinder you say dhoni is protected by higher ups...so you want to protect your favorites sehwag, gambhir and kohli? If dhoni is not qualified/equipped to play tests even as a player if one goes by the figures of last 2 years then are the players that you are backing qualified?

Sorry to disappoint you, I dont read lengthy messages. Specially yours....!
has come out with the name saying it was Srinivasan who overrulled all the selectors decision to drop Dhoni..too much mudslinging happening in Indian cricket.

Yes, and Cementvasan saying he did not do anything.....! This is what happens if politicians run the game. I still cant understand why a BCCI top shot is running an IPL team :)..... Conflict of interest??

But Mohinder says selectors wanted to appoint Sehwag as captain at that time which sounds more ridiculous.
