Yes, Dhoni deserved to be dropped even from the team.. But who is there to lead the team from the front as a gusty captain? The most experienced longest playing player in the world?? Alas, No replacements available as of now.

When Dhoni became a captain, he was also not experienced or anything like that...... Time gave him experience. So no use crying about "replacement" of Sachin or Dravid or Dhoni.

Have you forgotten Gambhir who lead in One day series or Shewag ? Dhoni is neither knowledgable nor experienced as Captain sans Test player aka batsmen. He simply rides on the contribution by famed five/Four . So don't worry . Dhoni can't find a place in T20/One day or test team if he is born in Aus/Eng/SA why not even in NZ for his cricketing skills.
With such a record every pitch is alien to him. Be it EDEN OR OVAL. Why does he not do endorsemsnts???????????? That time does he give excuse of excessive cricket? The Selectors took a tough call finally and axed out of form Zaheer, Harbjan and Yuvi. They should have also axed Tendulkar, Ishant and Dhoni. But then Dhoni did not wish to quit at this stage. Fine, but he must quit after the series whatever may be the outcome of Nagpur Test. It is good to see the back of the above three but much more need to be done. The youngsters must be given opportunity to display their ability right from Nagpur Test. Even if they fail,they may be tried for couple of Tests. Dhoni lost his sheen and he is not so cool in the field as well. He was seen arguing with the umpire, an unusual sight for a cool captain.Dhoni blamed the batsmen but spared the bowlers who were also performed below par. Even on the turning track the likes of Ashwin and Ohja did not perform the way the English spinners did.Hats off to them,including the cool captain Cook who displayed his batting ability to the fullest. Its a different story that he stepped out and stumped in the last innings which he normally doesn't do.English pacemen were far better than our pace battery. There was no pace nor swing in our bowling. Irfan Pathan would have easily exploited the situation as he is the strike bowler. May be he is nursing the injury. Its time to send a tough message to one and all, perform or perish and nobody should take his place for granted.Nagpur would be the last Test for Tendulkar and whatever be his performance,he should hang his boots, no excuse please.Let someone talk to him.

It is a sad day for Indian cricket that team India lost at a venue where they defeated mighty Kangaroos but lost to a weak English team.It happened due to lack of application and casual approach.Wake up members of team India and pay the English in the same coin.Forget the past and take full advantage of present.Take lessons from the aggressive approach of Dada Ganguli.

What do you mean by 'a weak English team'? No too long ago they were the No. 1 and have only recently been upstaged by South Africa.
