IF Sachin can continue to play, then why not recall Gavaskar, Mohinder Amarnath and Gundappa Viswanath?
india is rebuilding, many indian players past prime and out of form. crucial catch drops and run outs changed course of match. some decision also went against india.

yea,,sachin and india did not win a single series in australia or south africa during his 23 years, so South africa and australia are very lucky because India was always rebuilding...India and BCCI needed to bribe and fix matches to win the 2011 world cup..ok....yuvraj was plumb out lbw on zero, if that was given, india would not even have reached 150..sachin was out twice..he struggled to 76 on a flat first day pitch..keep talking buddy
Where is the talent is an excuse that saved filthy rich, fat and overtly and overrated Indian cricket palyers. Let us see following names and you will realize that talent is there, just they were not harnessed or given opportuniy. Some of them may fail, but it should not stop you offering them a chance.
Abouts greats like Sachin, Zaheer etc, they palyed theri part and now extending their shelf life, which is over by some margin now.
Here is a lsit of few palyers who should ahve inducted or at least thought about:
1. Jeevenjyot (opener) 2. Ajinky Rahane (Opener or 3) 3. Manoj Tiwary (middle order)owler) 4. Robin Bisht (middle order) 5. Basat Mohanty (Fast bowler) 6. Sandip Sharma (FAst bowler) 7. Delhi under 19 world cup winning captin (not remembering name) 8. Unfortunately no upcoming spinner comes to my mind
What sort of record sachin is making after playing so many matches without any productivity. Why is he not feeling shame about his performance. He is same same like Mithun and Jackieshroff now a days.
monkey of not losing in india is off the back for us.. We can now focus on team rebuilding.. More than Yuvraj who atleast have a 50, it was kohli who should be dropped.

I live and work in Canada but was always attached to cricket since i was a little girl as it is our top sport. But iam sad at the present state of our game..It is a shame that players like Sachin,Yuvraj are still playing..Sachin has not even played a single match winning innings under pressure nor won a match for India singlehandedly like laxman, Dravid, Vishvanath,Kumble did. On a first day flat pitch he struggled to score 76 and was out twice but the umpire spared him..Yuvraj was plumb LBW on zero but again the umpire and DRS saved him..Kohli is a big flop in this series and that delights me soo much

Thanks.
They had an opprtunity to induct new players or palyers who are on fringe for few years now, but did not.
Srinivasan (BCCI) have wasted interests and conflicts of interest of protecting interest of certain players. DHONI for an example as he is captaining his club side. Also all players play win-win for thier joint ventures and future commercial interests.
The life everywhere is cosmetic, cricket is just one part of it.
The only thing that really pains that despite ahving a lot of intellectuals, we as a nation do not offer any new thought or intiaitive or new thought process to the world.

righto...our team doesnt have a plan B or a plan C..Just see that wonderful South African team, they were on the verge of losing the first two tests but managed miraculous draws..Players like Du Plessis played the whole day out, then in the 3rd test, they were 6 down and out, again Du Plessis gets a big score and they thrash Australia at their own home, that is something great,,It is a shame, India has never won a single test series till date in Australia and South Africa, sachin is useless despite all hype becsue he could do nothing in his 23 years of cricket..
