IPL to be blamed for the impatience shown by all cricketers. They loose patience and their attitude towards the game does not show test maturity. BCCI the cash cow is wholly responsible for this debacle. The technique and patience to treat the loose ball for scoring and adhere to the basics seems lacking. IPL has ruined the beauty of Test cricket.Pujara showed some silver lining in the first two test but could maintain consistency. But hats off to him atleast for him alone India could win the first test. The future of Test Cricket seems bleak as we have no quality bowlers and new breeding batsman will take time to learn. This is high time for the selector to choose a set of sound technique players who enjoys the longer version game.

Sandeep Patil & Co can never take decisions. They are the beholden to Srinivasan and are there to ensure that the South, West and North Zones are kept happy. It is like back to the days of old .. pre Jagmohan Dalmiya and Saurav Ganguly.
Come to think of it, Indian Cricket has just nosedived ever since this Srinivasan fellow and Rajiv Shukla took over the reins of BCCI.
Now the players live from IPL season to IPL season. The rest can go take a walk.
