I think Reddff's heading is confusing all. Coach has said that Unmukt is better than Gambhir at that age. So might be Unmukt has more scores than what Gambhir scored when he was

Poor Judgement by the Coach...
by Rupesh Puli on Aug 27, 2012 08:09 PM  | Hide replies

By giving such a statement, the coach has indicated that he could be having problems big time. He certainly seems to have psycho-emotional issues. Cannot compare Gambhir with Chand at any stage. Poor Coach.

rupesh may be you need to read the article again. He said "at this age". Presuming he is u-19 world cup team memeber he should be under 19 and might have better statistics. It's rediff which has sensationalize as usual and readers are judign it from headline without reading it.

I would still say as a teacher it is wrong on his part to compare current and past student at least at this stage. Very amateurish and sad. Its like saying VK is the next SRT. There is still a long way for Unmukt to go ahead. No doubt he is talented.

what an hell of a coach is he?
by kalyan sundar on Aug 27, 2012 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

first of all goutam gambhir is presently in the indian team and doing well, even though many times his contributions were never spoken highly off, but still, gambhir always seem to be a person who is happy to contribute more with his doggidness, and hard work.
he has proved time and again that he has taken pain to make it to the indian team. further he always had given 100 percent when ever he is doing the job.
unmukt is a wonderful find and he has to and will get his oppertunities, but whey the hell the coach is making his own assessment at this juncture. he should watch out his his words, because the words will automaticaly and decisively make an impact on gambhir's game. coach , be sensible when u speak, is it not right?
