See some people want sachin to retire stating that he is blocking another youngster's place. One cannot understand why there is so much fuss for youngsters' place at the cost of sachin who had only performed as good as any other player. 1).Do they want the youngsters' to be given chance at somebody's courtesy? 2). Do they mean that the youngsters cannot win their chance with their ability and push the seniors out of the team? 3).Would you people go on to say that many persons including your fathers aged around 50 to 55 who are still working are blocking youngsters' way? If so, then call for their retirements before calling for sachin's.
And then the same old blabber that sachin plays for records only and would not perform when in need. I would like to bring to their notice that how many of the following great players acheivements resulted in their respective teams' victories.
BRAIN LARA - 12000 TEST RUNS - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN VICTORIES?
HADLEE - 420 ODD WICKETS - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN VICTORIES?
KAPILDEV - 434 WICKETS - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN VICTORIES?
MURALIDHARAN - MORE THAN 800 WICKETS - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN OVERSEAS VICTORIES? (IN SRILANKA ONLY HE WON MATCHES)
ANIL KUMBLE - 600 WICKETS - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN VICTORIES?
RAHUL DRAVID - HOW MANY OF THEM RESULTED IN OVERSEAS VICTORIES? (EXCEPT ONE IN ADELIDE THAT TOO INDIA WON BECAUSE OF AGARKAR'S SIX WICKET HAUL)-RECENT ALL 3 CENTURIES IN ENGLAND FOR LOSING CAUSE ONLY? cont
Laxman said MSD is unreachable most of the times on phone. yesterday he tries to contact his captain but could not get through. It is ridiculous that a captain is not reachable to his players, and really MSD does not deserve a place in test team based on his perforamces more than laxman in recent times

you think msd should be also available when laxman is going to the toilet....how can anybody be available 24x7? dhoni has no other work to do?
besides did laxman warn him that he was going to retire so msd better be on the phone yesterday?

very true but dhoni is like sachin... bit lucky...also why sachin dosent retire enough of records now. pl goive way to youngsters..

Navdeep, Youngsters like rohit sharma, ravindra jadeja, murli vijay need more chances so that we may get whitewashed in India too that too against Bdesh. Also dnt compare Sachin wid useless Dhoni who is in team bcz of captaincy.

Sachin's effort are building his image(records)at the cost of millions of aspirants who are waiting eagerly for a chance to play.Is sachin can see the weaping hearts of youngsters and their parents hope ? It appears no such selfish man than sachin ?

Let me know the records of such youngsters who are waiting. Is it free food being served so everyone is waiting for the turn to have their share. Why these youngsters are not playing other games

VVS Laxman- Greatest cricketer who has created a place for himself in Indian cricket only by his hard work & performance on pitch. I admire his efforts on pitch and behaviour on field. He is a role model who will inspire the generations to take up cricket as a career. I salute this true gentleman for the memorable moments he gave us to cherish for life. I wish him the best of luck for his future.
