Rohit Sharma doesn't have the right attitude towards the game
by GYANESHWAR NATH on Aug 11, 2012 02:15 AM  | Hide replies

Rohit is talented but will never be that successful...he will wither away just like kambli who too was talented but didn't have the right attitude..Rohit's dedication towards cricket isn't 100%..but he had the backing of Dhoni, he has fitness problems which r not highlighted bcoz they r not due to injuries but due to laziness(he doesn't seem to be training much & looks kind of bloated). He is not a GREAT fielder either..as the commentators try to build the hype around him.He is an average fielder and stands mostly at the boundary line.Given he has a safe pair of hands(but that's a basic requirement isn't it?),if Dhoni can give him such a long run, then surely Yuvraj deserves a chance to make a comeback

wrong priorities
by vikki singh on Aug 10, 2012 11:15 PM  | Hide replies

yuvraaj selection a clear case of political pressure in selection

selectors should have taken a pro approach and should have asked yuvi to play domestic cricket first

itoo much north influence in sports is apparent

marycom was never given prominence by media or sports bodies but vijender/ saina were highlighted

TESO
by Vannian on Aug 10, 2012 10:10 PM

TESO, an another drama by Mr Karunanidhi. Dirty politics by Central Government in Lankan tamil issue and Selfish politics by leading political parties in Tamil Nadu.

Eelam tamils are never going to benefit from India or Tamil Nadu.

Their only option is to approach China for the peaceful political solution.
