Mr.Tendulkar does not play all matches
by Captain K on Sep 22, 2011 12:32 PM  | Hide replies

With a reason for injury, tendulkar does not play all matches of a series or some matches. That way he maintains his average & also in the yearly compensation which BCCI gives to the cricketers. Every now & then he gets injured. If cannot play fit & well, then why is he dragging. There's no doubt he is all time greats, but this tactics should be questioned. Thanks.

Dear Captain,

Agreed that he is one of the best players, but intentions are not good.
.
International cricketers, Waugh, Gilchrist, Hayden, Lara etc retired when they were at their prime

Tendulkar's suggestion for ODIs is worth Experimenting
by jugraj dhillon on Sep 22, 2011 12:28 PM

Not for ODIs but for Test matches which are becoming boring and do not end in result in many cases. The test match should be of 4 days. Both the teams must play two innings each of 100 overs in one days and the result should be based on weitage given to the scores and wickets taken by each side. See then, how much popular the test matches will become.

T-20with two innings
by Lalu Prasad Panwala on Sep 22, 2011 12:25 PM

Formats should not be changed . Some body will awake and will say make T-20 also make in two innings. One has rightly pointed out Sachin has to concentrate his Udipi and Zunka bhakar- Vada Pav center.

Bad Idea

It is not a good idea at all. Lagart did a good job by throwing Sachin's so called stupid plan into dustbin.

you are right, but the suggested format is worth trying..four sessions of 25 overs is not a bad idea..it will be more thrilling

It will be actually two T-20 matches. We already have T-20 format.

Suppose a batsman is on 60 after 25 overs, then he has to settle again after opposition inning. It will break the momentum of both bowlers as well as batsman.

TWO INNINGS
by Sun t on Sep 22, 2011 12:01 PM

WELL 50 OVERS IS LIKE A TEST MATCH OF ALL LIMITED OVERS. SPLITTING 2 25 OVERS MEANS CREATING ANOTHER T20 AND ALSO WITH THAT CREATING A BUNCH OF CRICKETERS WHO ARE NOT TECHNICALLY SOUND BUT GREAT T20 OR T50 CRICKETRS. LATER IN ANOTHER 10 YEARS TIME WE WILL SEE DEATH OF ACTUAL CRICKET--TEST AND BIRTH OF T20 . AND IN ANOTHER 5 YEARS PEOPLE WILL NOT GO FOR T20 ALSO BECAUSE THE QUALITY WILL BE SO POOR THAT EVEN AN AVG CRICKET FAN WILL BE IN DISGUST.

I THINK LOGART IS CORRECT.

KINDLY SEE INDIA AS REF. YOU HAVE CRICKETES LIKE YUSUF, RAINA.... GREAT IN 20 OVERS TOTAL FLOP OTHERWISE AND MORE IN FOREIGN SOIL
