Dont stress out
by Suresh Menon on Sep 21, 2011 04:55 PM  | Hide replies

There is big money in Indian cricket and by extension guys like these with business interests and adept and politicking are bound to jump in and control the system.

Since we are convinced of the cricket boards priorities (money and not cricket), it is best to focus on another sport like footie, which is far more physical, thrilling and dont require expert-mad pitches and costly gear and equipment.

Down with cricket.

Liar..
by Michael Angelo on Sep 21, 2011 04:15 PM  | Hide replies

This guy is a liar. He is playing with sementics. He is not the owner of India Cements. But publicly listed companes do not have owners they have Managing directors. Also count the number of shares his wife and daughter hold and one can see he has a huge stake in India Cements which is the company which bought CSK. Why is team Anna keeping quite now? This shows team Anna is really not interested in solving corruption. They only wanted to take advantage of the stir created by 2g scam and take a share of public space.

Team Anna is busy solving the corruption in areas that affects the general public. If there is corruption in Cricket, then the public can prevent that by going to see the matches.. its your money, thats being used up!! If you stop paying to get the tickets and watch the matches, this corrupt IPL will die! :-)

Mr. Srinivisan : are we fools to believe
by Yogesh on Sep 21, 2011 04:05 PM

Dear Guys

all this acivity by BCCI is just an eye wash. he says that BCCI is a private body and hence cannot be under the ambit of RTI, if this is the case than the crickt team cannot be termed as a Indian National Team as it is selected by a private body secondly he claims that he does not own chennai super kings but agrees that he sits on the board of directors of india cements which is more than enough to gain a substancial upper hand in selection of players and IPL functioning in benefit of the chennai kings. its all stage set, next in line you woudl see Rajiv shukla being the president. mockery to say the least!!!

Jai Hind

Mr. Srinivasan forgot to mention a few trivial facts like that he is Vice Chairman and Managing Director of India Cements and how many shares his wife Mrs. Chitra Srinivasan and daughter Ms. Rupa Gurunath are holding in India Cements.
