that manoj tiwari gets the chance. rohit was even otherwise getting lots of chances inspite of continuous failures. let the talented players get their dues from the selection committee.
Now BCCI will ask 10 more players to be ready because everyday one or the other is getting injured. Manoj is pretty ok. But I think they could have tried Irfan. He is a far better batsman than many in the team and as a swing bowler the conditions will help him. He could be lethal though I don't know his current form. Having a fast bowling all rounder balances the team well. But I'm happy that at least Muruli Vijay is not replacing Rohit.

sachin will be allright for the champions league.. Irfan pathan and suresh raina i think bowl at the same pace i.e. 80 kmpl..

really...Manoj is noway a bad choice..but I also feel selection of Irfan Pathan could have been more useful as an bowing allrounder (don\'t forget he batted brilliantly whenever he got the opportunity)in those conditions.

dont worry, you will never be happy. If they picked Saurabh Tiwary, you wud ask why not Manoj Tiwary. It never ends.
IPL is the root cause for all the injuries and poor performance. Cricketers fake their injuries so that they can skip playing for India and be fit for IPL/Rubbish Champions Trophy.

i agree. they remain fit for the ipl n once ipl/cl is over, their injuries crop up from nowhere.

Absolutely Sourav.. IPL is the bloody virus that needs to be taken off the cricketing calendar.. useless tournament..
How can Vinay kumar play where as a bowler like Varun Aaron in extras. Varun is a far more faster and focussed bowler than Vinay. Why to call a youngster if you are not going to play him at all or in the last game which is of no importance. Dhoni will continue to stick with Vinay who is one of the big weak link in the team currently. Make Aaron play and if he clicks it is going to be dangerous for England to handle him. But with Vinay, be sure to conceed atleast 75 runs from his 10 overs.
