Sharjah cup was in 98; Tendulkar captained Indian team to Australia in 99; how come he did not "singlehandedly destroy" them in 99?

Young players can play on Indian soil great..But rememebr the similar young brigade failed miserable in SriLanka tour too couple of years back...SRT, Dravid have proven their talents all over the world...youngsters learns from them , they dont question them...

i understand ur cofusion.... tendulkar did not play the ODI in england and Dravid was called back to play ODI after almost 2 years...

At a time of sachin era, Many match fixing was played in indian team and due to which performance was not at their best. Only captain and his good decision can win the matches, currently Some time dhoni also take wronge decision but his good luck is that change works for him. and currently everybody knows that if they play for winning than they will get money by ny chance. that time it was totally opposite. MI could win a final only when Sachin was NOT captain. Harbhajan led the team well in CL T20. Well done Bhajji. You are a good captain who made a poor team like MI win.
Thank Lord that because of his decision we saw one of the greatest captain ever take India to a different level. Sourav has been the caotain India needed at that juncture.

Rahul Should have made captain right that time..Saurav was arrogant and being thougth as strong leader ..that was wrong judgement..He was certainly good player , He would have played many more exciting innings had he not made captain. He was bit whimsical, less balance of emotions at time he will scream, after some time he will hug the same player...A good captain don't necessarily shown emotions easily . They just act...Ajit wadekar was one of the fine captains Ind has produced...Azar was good on fields but he made the unforgiving blunder..Sandeep Patil would have been good captain had he lasted long in cricket career.Anil Kumble was good too but he didnt have long career as captain...
