The way Virat got out yesterday smells fishy, and cricket has taken such a state in India, that all rouges are entering the game no different from Indian Politics and politicians, Cricket should be banished, Gautam Ghambir who came back stating Toe injury started playing for T20, Money matters....

Dude, the way you are speaking is also fishy. It does not mean anyone should banish you from writing on discussion boards :)

why sidhu walked out
by solid singh on Oct 26, 2011 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

lele is talking through the hat that a panel member was replaced by a Punjabi speaking language. sidhu can speak english better than any of the panel members named. the real reason was politics played by wadekar 7 sandeep patil. he was omitted from the playing eleven & not informed. and then after the toss when he started padding up players around him started laughing & made fun of his ignorance which he could not digest. it has its genesis in 1996 world cup. after victory over pak in which sidhhu played a stellar role he was asked by the team mgmt to sit out gainst lanka in delhi & feign illness.

Sidhu

I read in papers at that time that Sidhu was asked to fake sickness by Azar and not claim his place in final XI.

It is everybody's knowledge that Azar could not clean on match fixing.

Eng conditions would have ensured he fails with bat.....
by Jaiho on Oct 26, 2011 10:43 AM  | Hide replies

Siddhu walked out becoz he knew he would have failed against moving ball in English conditions. Rest all is bakwas. Siddhu i sno saint when it comes to abusive language. He would have used foul language when he hit and accidentally killed a person on road.

All said and done Siddhu is a nice person. I admire hhis Siddhuisms. He says idioms and phrases flawlessly.

BEING A HYDRABADI
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Oct 26, 2011 08:55 AM

Each region has its own filth - like hyderabadi or for that matter from Surat - it does not mean a person from decent family will use them .Many people who use lot of filth - I blame then -the parents squarely .What is inculcated in the families always come out. After his involvement in betting this is quite possible behaviour of any person.

I knew of this incident when it happened. I think Rediff has more to reveal on this. And..Character Assassination?? Really? Getting Involved in match fixing and Betting..is this a person who offers Namaz 5 times a day does?
btw, i am a hyderabadi..and Not every uses such filthy language all the time. Definitely its not a way to address dear ones. Mohinder Amarnath, probably has little knowledge of this and i believe all he knows about hyderabadi language is through those mehmood's films in which this actor does a lot of "over-action" of being a hyderabadi

Digvijay Singh,
I liked what you have written.
In the present secular India which is supposed to have given to us by beloved Bapuji, no mistakes can be committed by the beloved Mohammedans.
Your letter truly reflects this sentiment.

this is very wrong understanding... just with 5 times Namaz everyday, a person needn't become gentleman.
