Lele's - Yet another armchair Q.B
by Raghu Kundurthi on Oct 25, 2011 08:01 PM

At best, this is a case of Lele having an ADD bout and requires attention. If true, it clearly points out a lack of R&R b/w a coach Vs captain. Test players(batsmen/bowlers) sign up for a 5 day job and perhaps the duo were eager to skip the strenous coaching regimes of Kapil as he was known to be a workhorse. In either case, Lele in his senile old age is acting as an arm chair quarterback.

COME ON LELE
by psbrao on Oct 25, 2011 07:45 PM

I think this a a ploy to create a controversary by writing such comments just for the sake of getting their book saleable. Where was lele all these days just recalling this incident prior to publishing his book. Kapil paaji tussi great ho and no one can point finger on your stand. Please don't use name of sachin or Kapil for getting publicity.

might have put up a bet for nz will follow on and hence seems to have lost huge quantum of money..

as such kapil dev was never a thinker and used to follow the directions of gavaskar which helped him win the wc 1983... and now the moron dev advised... infact the bcci selectors must b slapped for choosing this jat as a coach...

Tired

Kapil is saying that the bowlers are tired. SO what is the problem? Srinath and Venkatesh are not marathon runners to bowl again after a score of 308 has been scored! They are going to tell the captain that they are tired and cannot bowl. Gimme a break!

The coach told the captain. So what is the PROBLEM?? This Lele was a big problem then and is beoming a bigger problem now.

the old kandya junkies named srinath and prasad were irritatingly slow to be called as pace bowlers... once ponting joked that he could have a nap between their express deliveries...
