For cricket's sake... He has won many matches and he was doing a containing job for the team after Kumble exited.... Give him a bowler who can hold one end up and he will get wickets....

so he as such is a big waste is it? players like kumble, murali, warne, vettori didn't need a support bowler... a true spinner can strike individually... he doesn't need a counterpart to hold up one end... and who wud want to do that so this waste fellow can take fluke wickets and be very arrogant... ur comment as such proves this guy is an overated good for nothing baggage in the team...

The sad fact is that Ashwin and Rahul Sharma are nowhere near to Harbhajan Singh. We need to accept this fact. Both these newcomers have to play a lot of Ranaji to get qualified to play in test matches. Dont judge their peformance based on IPL

good bowler but i think its too soon for tests... i don't understand selection panel, i mean harbhajan got hammerd in england and when they come to india he didn't get chance for revenge in favourable conditions... m not underestimating ashwin n jadeja but i think harbhajan is much difficult to play than them on indian pitches...
we can try resting one senior batsman (probably dravid as he is much needed for AUS tour) and also shuffle between kohli/tiwary. Also depending on the pitch, anohther spinner or paceman can make way

What does it mean? If srikkanth is chairman then no one from southIndia should be selected. You people are sick. Ashwin will automatically get selected if performance is counted.

Bharat fool, if that be the case, the whole team should have only south indians ....
ashwin is there in the team , not because he comes from the same place as srikanth, but because he is the best ODI spinner in the country at the moment.
