Asking such questions is bad manners.Either one has to say yes or no,No other option.If yes media will say Dhoni backs Ashwinn. IF no then it will be reported Dhoni is against Ashwin.This type of tactic to extract a contentious answer has been happening in all interviews after the advent of TV in India.
What do you expect Dhoni to say, "I need Ashwin, Otherwise I won't play" what? Dhoni has just given a diplomatic answer relating to the selection methods in India.
The sad fact is that Ashwin and Rahul Sharma are nowhere near to Harbhajan Singh. We need to accept this fact. Both these newcomers have to play a lot of Ranaji to get qualified to play in test matches. Dont judge their peformance based on IPL

Harbhajan Singh's performance has been going down the hill and he was selected earlier based on his past performance. It is high time they try out Ashwin and Rahul Sharma both in ODIs and Test matches. Harbhajan Singh himself would agree.
time to develop good fast pacers for all formats, not just one or two.
yadav should step up to gain more strength, flexibility, variation and pace. Same with ishant now that he has someone to share his work load. We need to have 3-5 pacers, right now we have 3 and those being yadav, aaron, ishant.
let slow medium pace zaheer take a long break for rehab , sehwag can take sometime for full rehab as well, same with the rest ... and we need to have few good spinners as well.

For 5th ODI, drop Parthiv patel and ask Gambhir to open and include Manoj Tiwary at no. 3 on his home ground. Parthiv Patel as specialist batsman didn't do justice and his fielding in other position than keeping is pathetic. We should try proper batsman.

hey guys, the selectors, the captain and the coach will select the team whatever you guys say and they won't even look at this rediff personal bashing . don't indulge in this foolish exercise and start enjoying the matches .
Pick anybody. Dhoni's good luck will carry team India to victory. Only don'y allow Sachn back in the team. Dhoni was able to carry team India despite Sachin's bad luck, but eventualy Sachin's bad luck showed itself in Eng. Sachn should never ever play for team India ever again. Just pick a guy in the street playing gully cricket and Dhonis luck will still bring victory. But Sachin's bad luck will constantly put pressure on Dhoni. First Sachin's bad luck started showing on Dhoni's batting and eventually the team itself. DONT PICK SACHIN EVER AGAIN.

It is very clear that you have Zero knowledge of cricket and How India could win the matches in the Pre-Dhoni era. How can Dhoni's poor form in England could be attiributed to Sachin's form? And relating luck with success. Hmm.
All players go through the lean phases, what is so apecial about Bhajji! He is a class bowler and deserves a place in the team but Ashwin, Jadeja and other young spinners who are perfroming well shall be groomed along with him so that in due course of time when he retires we have a bench strength in spin department. Its not about individuals but about tapping the potential while optimising on the experience and class act of Harbhajansingh.

Sir,your world class bowler hasnt been performing form past 4-5 years.You can take someone based on his past laurels.Other deserving players need to get a chance.
