where was Fletcher when England gave us Whitewash in England ? Fletcher being English has not proved useful to know english condition perfectly. No coach needed for India to play in India under Dhoni.
Everyone has been speculating about the kind of pitchu to be prepared in India like those of Aussie or English nature. But think of Pakistan or SriLanka pitches and the kind of fast bowlers as well as spinners they have produced over the years. Appears like this has more to do with the grooming of young talent than kind of pitches.
If Wankhede it will not be easy to play on. Indian team won the WC finals at Wankhede but the pitch has always been difficult to play. Will not be a easy match. But team Dhoni work hard and u will definately win.
If Aaron debut's for India in the 4th ODI it will be a new chapter in the history of India fast bowling evolution.
Dhoni's preference for Praveen, RIP, Vinay and Munaf is a step backwards because starting from the 70s pace has been gradually increasing and closing the pace gap in addition to looking for solid openers has been the reason for India's rise in recent times.
Yadav appears to in the mold of Sreesanth and Ishant. Pace but no control. Varun is a different story. His eco rate of 4.6 with decent pace could make him the next best thing to happen after Rahane's debut in England.
Even though Varun managed this only in 11 List-A matches, the emerging tournament in Australia for being the leading wicket taker inspite of the old ball was further confirmation.
Yes Varun should get the new ball. The problem is the conditions in India with lack of pace and bounce could back fire and his introduction in England was only 1 T20 match.
If Varun does a 0/70 which is unlikely we still need to persist with him for the next and upcoming tour of Australia.
Having said that we are excited because he could hit 1-2 mph quicker than Yadav who bowled his fastest ball at 90.9 mph.
The ODI fast bowling future is bleak and the dibly dobly stuff from Praveen, Vinay and RIP Singh means India will rely heavly on its batting to bail us out all the time only in India.

He is erratic. These kids need time to develop into what they could be. Yes that opportunity and patience has to be shown by india. But ready to go solutions they are not.
Aaron must be given the new ball before Vinay Kumar to see how much speed he can generate when he is fresh (i.e. not tired after 15 overs of fielding).
