RCB were now where in the picture. MI did not have rohit and sachin. To gain some media attention BCCI cooked some exciting matches in the end and made their team win. MI = BCCI = Mumbai = Betting racket. all are synonmous.

Harbhajan proves to be better captain than Sachin...
by K B on Oct 10, 2011 04:46 AM  | Hide replies

Yet again, Sachin has never succeeded his team to win any tournaments - say it be one day or test or T20. Sachin, although a terrific team player, unfortunately does not possess the leadership skill required for winning tournaments as a captain!

KB you are Wrong in Sachins Captaincy India lost series 1-0 only to Zimbabwe in 1996-97 .We all know how strong is Zimbabwe and loosing by 1-0 only is not a small achievment.

I always said MI win never win any title so long as Sachin leads the team. Bhajji is definitely better captain that Sachin.

One win in a 20-20 tournament shouldnt be blown out of proportions. The credit should be given when due but one 20-20 series doesnt prove that Harbhajan is a better captain than Dhoni. Bhajji is a better captain than Sachin but I doubt that he is a 'more valuable player' than Sachin for Mumbai Indians!

Bose, forget due or undue credit here..... People who hat Sachin are writing nonsense, people who hate Dhoni are replying with nonsense. Dont take forums in Rediff seriously.

It was all decided by Toss
by Akshat Saxena on Oct 10, 2011 01:22 AM  | Hide replies

This chennai pitch has been really on slow side and for side batting second its been nightmare. So more than MI winning it, it was TOSS which helped them.

IDIOT stop blaming it on the TOSS. RCB made squashbuckling start with 38 for no loss. MI bowlers were too good in picking key wickets at regular intervals.

RCB lost poorly to Warriors & KKR during league stage. It was Gayle, Dilshan & Kohli which brought them to the finals with their individual efforts. While MI lost only one match during their road to the finals. MI just had to bag these 3 key wickets of RCB to win the match. MI are deserving winners where every player performed well in the tournament.

a useless umpire from Sri Lanka was responsible for the result as he succumbed to Bhajji\\\'s appeal for LBW of Gayle. Batsman\\\'s front foot was about 10 feet away from stumps when ball stuck and the ball was spinning viciously to off. No doubt ever cool Gayle also felt disgusted at the decision. Commentator Ian Chappal even called it very poor decision. RCB would have won the match in 17 overs but for this decision!

It is unwise to use Bhajji's once in a blue moon performance in this fashion. No need to take potshots at Sachin when he doesnt even take part in the national 20-20 team. Bhajji needs to replciate this success in many more series if he wants to return to the national squad. Bhajji is a better captain than Sachin but not Dhoni. If one thinks rationally, one would realise that Sachin and Dhoni are more valuable ODI players over the last 1 year while Bhajji wasn't.

Well, your MSD lead India to the worst loss faced from 1974. I bet you could not "ROFLMAO" then.... And IPL/CLT20 is a total gambler. It shows that even the fluke decisions made by Dhoni has lead to victory.....

Who cares?
by SK on Oct 10, 2011 12:31 AM  | Hide replies

Who cares about this tournament.

While the whole of Chennai is reeling under no power or inadequate power, this final is hosted and really no one cares except for money hungry Srinivasan and co.

It is hosted for the sake of businessmen and players are squeezed like bhabhiji squeezes clothes before putting up to dry.

rightly said! these people who talk about country's problems versus cricket are just a bunch of losers. when it comes to their doings, they will do all sorts of bad stuff. is there anyone from these, who hasn't bribed?or hasn't bought things in black market?cricket is the most inexpensiev entertaiment that gives so much relief to public. why are these people crying?
