We were sipping the hot coffee and enjoying the chilling climate...there came up the topic of 20-20 and then and there itself we all friends came to a conclusion that MI would win the game (though we live in bangalore). Honestly, the credit should go to them and they deserve the win with fair play at all levels (though it was a low score game).

RCB SHOULD CHANGE THE PLAY ORDER FOR GAYLE AND PUT HIM AT 3RD OR 4TH LEVEL. IT WAS ALMOST LIKE NOTHING WHEN HE GOT OUT AND THE MATCH WAS GIVEN TO MUM-INDIANS...

Our heartly congratulations to MUMs...

You are responsible for MI lifting the trophy by getting injured and not playing either as a captain or as a player...

Horrible talent in RCB
by chetan on Oct 10, 2011 09:51 AM

what a horrible bowler Raju bhatkal is, kaif is a 3rd class batsman, bad team selection. aravind and mithun given repeated chances despite poor show, no reason to persist with them. i say kick out both Ray jennings and Venkatesh prasad.

Retire
by silver mani on Oct 10, 2011 09:17 AM

I think its time to retire for Sachin as his presence or absence has no effect on Teams Performance. In England in his Presence 4-0 thrashing and now in his Absence his Team won.It would have been Ideal for him if he would have Retired after World Cup Win but now his Glorified name also comes under the Team which was Whitewashed in England.

Right. In the same logic, it is time for Dhongi to retire as he lead India to the worst possible defeat since 1974. Starting from West Indies series, we have seen how good Dhoni is.....

So according to this logic Sachin should have been retired in 1996-97 when he Captained the Team which lost series to MIGHTY Zimbabwe..

According to your logic, YES. When Dhoni was there in the team, we lost in England so badly. When Dhoni was not in New Zealand (Gambhir was the captain), we won. Like how you say, Dhoni's presence did not help India win. We have to see if his absence will help India. Then, you can recommend to BCCI to remove Dhoni also.

I am not sure about Dhoni but Sachins absence or presence Does not matter.Eg 2007 20-20, Two World Cup Finals etc etc.

I agree with you on Sachin's retirement. But Dhoni's real colors showed up in 90% of matches where he is just a mute spectator. He can "win" matches and act like "captain cool" only when all are performing. Or else, he is as good (or bad) as anyone else.

If Sachin is as good or bad as Anyone Else then Why he is labelled as the only God in the Team ,Either make this God a human being or Make Rest 10 human being as God too!

He is human like you and me. Who called him God? Hayden/Warne/Lara/Barry Richards/Crowe/Sehwag. Kindly ask them to take back their words :)

The anti -Sachin/ Dhoni comments on this forum has proved once again that we indians dont need our enemies to drag down achievers or suceessful persons. Rediff forum is enough. While Pakistanis are falling over each other to protect their corrupt/tainted players ; here we are passing comments on sachin instead of the Match !!!! If infosys becomes No ! in world I have no doubt that this forum will be filled with hate mail for Narayana Murthy !!!!

Pitch played the trick, when RCB batted
by satishgs on Oct 10, 2011 09:14 AM  | Hide replies

Pitch behaved differently while RCB batted, the ball was stopping and stroke making proved difficult, though not an excuse for RCB's defeat.
Mumbai Indians fought with venom, got important wickets at crucial juncture of the game.
This pitch is not suitable for 20 - 20, where entertainment is prime, it was a kind of flop show for RCB's and its bad luck.

Gayle and Kohli failed the team when it mattered the most.

Rest of the RCB team are duds like Tiwary, he copied the hair style of Dhoni, and Mallaya got impressed took him paying huge amount of money, and this non sense player who knows nothing about cricket failed miserably in all matches.

Kaif is another spent and useless player.

Less said the better about others..

MI luck favoured them with toss and the cup.

india & media has given much more than what he really deserved it.may be because of his luck. because luck plays a big role like in case of dhoni too.
