please do not bring regional and linguistic feelings to flare the usually enjoyable sport like cricket in India..lets put aside these barriers for while when 17 of our soldiers embark on the toughest tour on the planet representing mother india...these players are chosen based on the current performances and in domestic...three players should never be touched till they voluntary retire (sachin, rahul and vvs). ofcourse a psychopath marauder like sehwag should always be there..ashwin is there because of being the top wicket taking spinner in the country in the ranji..ojha has gone one level above by being the top spinner for his county in england..all these apart from their current performances in tests...the fast bowling choices shouldnt be a problem because sree is temperamental and not in form, and rest others are almost identical when they are compared...bhajji can wait because even the legendary kumble was not picked several times during his peak form..so, there is no such north south divide or east west divide..its team india..

This stupid Srikkanth should not make such statements.He then adds that "...by the grace of God India will defeat Australia...". Let us be confident but not over confident since Australia is no pushovers.They are great fighters and never give up and this is one quality we have to learn from them.

I HARDLY SEE DHONI CHOOSE VARUN/UMESH AHEAD OF ZAK, PRAVEEN AND ISHANT. IF INDIA CAN GO WITH 4 seamers & a spinner then they have a chance to put some fight interms of bowling especially when they bowl short and in between short/good length area consistenly with good pace??
India cannot or fans do not want to beat Australia becuase there is no Uthappa in the Indian team.Srikanth is responsible for Indias defeat in Australia.

Uthappa is not a test material. He is fit for t-20, where techniques are not required. Even in the t-20 now he has failed.You are probably a Karnataka Man. Only people in Karnataka may not like India win without Uthappa.
