Lot of people in this blog is asking why kambli took 15 years to come out. The reason is simple "The day he spoke this on television he was heavily drunked(He has habit of drinking since childhood, and even he use to drink when playing for India). Every other cricketer is making millions and this POOR kambli wants some attention. Maybe that was the reason for his heavy drinking and when person is heavily drunked you say and do anything. So don't blame kambli for this accusations.
If this match was not fixed and even if India went ahead and defeated Australia (almost impossible at that time) in the finals... Do you think the Pakistanis will allow Indians to lift the cup in their Country? Benazir Bhutto presented the cup... Fixed or not fixed... Its good that India lost this match. No player would have gone to Pakistan at that time.
In youtube, see the sharjah cup, where Miandad hit six of last ball. But in the previous ball, there was easy chance to run out; but Azhar would hold the ball in hand and run towards bowlers side wicket to hit while the bowler Chetan sharma was screaming at Azhar to throw the ball to him. But more surprisingly Azhar coming near to wicket throws the ball off the stump ensuring neither the ball hit the wicket nor Chetan sharma will be able to grab and hit the wicket. You can still see it youtube.
only telugu people and Mussies will support his actions.

If telugu people supported him he would have stood for MP election in Hyderabad itself, why go all the way to UP?
Don't create regional bias on this issue also yaar! Wrong is wrong. no excuses

Siva, you have no logical skills. 'All Telugu != only Telugu' your presumption of 'all tamils' will not follow my 'only telugu' people predicate. Having a fake BE degree from Osmania university does not mean Telugu people have knowledge.
to logically derive you should say 'only tamil people' will support maran family.

Macha! you seem be boolean king. agreed I'm no engineering guy. But it's a reasonable to presume that one would be commenting on relevant topics and not bring out their aversion/hatred towards another community. We all have our biases. You seem to be focussed on bit size losing byte size image! What is the topic about? Match fixing, Azhar, kambli.
Why did this gulti bashing start macha?
Again going to fake Osmania university degrees. Fake people and universities getting stuck in such scams is everywhere. It happened in Nagpur university and everywhere. The other day Thindivanam case about the Pudhucherry minister.
Telugu people might not have knowledge. they might. It's irrelevant to the current topic.
Azhar fixed matches. He exploited the muslim majority and still is exploiting it. Kambli came out late and made a fool out of himself, Cronje had the guts to admit his mistake and face it like a man.

If Azhar is Fixed than , Kapil, Sachin , Saurav and Prabhakar are too fixed, since only single person cannot control this whole episode.
The nation knew that the match at Eden Garden was fixed. This is not a new. News could be that Vinod has said it, but why did he take 15 years to say this. The decision to field first was a big surprise for all except for those who fixed this match. It was no surprise that the people at the Eden Garden burnt with anger. Azhar is saying a lie. He does not require a lie detector as he has big experience in match fixing.

Better late than never. so what he said after 15 years. Others team members have not yet spoken against azhar yet. So it does not mean he is a holy person

Better late than never. Why, Most of his collegues have said about his match fixing ways yet. But there is proof and we have no doubts that was involved in match fixing

i think match fixing is fine...at the end of the day people watch cricket for entertainment...just like movies...even if match is fixed people still enjoy the shots played etc. etc.....so purpose is solved...why bother who fixed matches...as long as we got entertained...just forget and watch it like movies...nobody's life is affected by watching these games
