Oscar for Kambli
by Ajit Kamble on Nov 18, 2011 06:14 PM

I still remember how he over-acted when match referee stopped that match due to crowd problem. He was not ready to walk away from the pitch and he cried a lot. In fact, after hearing all these fixing stories now, I feel that Kambli had been part of this entire scam in the past and he over-acted during semis (which wouldn't have been fixed, obviously) to prove the point that he is the only right guy among other corrupt guys :-)

Kambli is a loser

Kambli proved a failure as a cricketer, actor and whatever else he did since being out of the team. He is frustrated and looking for cheap publicity. It took him 15 years to drop this "bombshell"? Kambli came from the slums and his antics are just a reflection of that culture.

The issue has become communal when he was made to stand from a musalman constituency

He could never have won from non musalman area

Also Azhar was the one who cried that he is being targetted because he belongs to minority community

So who started playing the minority (musalman )card?????

kambli did not do justice to his talent. the hype & a bit of success got to his head, he himself stated that after his debut at home & after he scored those tons against england when he toured west indies he realised what fast bowling is. neverthelss because of his background , lack of class & his attitude he lost his place in the side. still beleive whatever he is saying needs to be investigated. if he is saying this after 15 years , does not mean he has lost his balance. manoj prabhakar came out after 7 years of the alleged offer of bribe. it is alleged by various quarters both in india & abroad that in 1990's match fixing was widely prevalent. some people believe that even the administartors late dungarpur , dalmiya , some selectors & the great gavaskar were also involved. till date gavaskar has not been able to explain that where did 8 lacs in cash found in his locker at gymkhana club came from.

Kambli and the match fixing ghost...

Mr.Kambli with due respect to your cricketing abilities, the on drives, square drives, late cuts, straight drives, cover drive, hooks and pulls etc etc... u have not distinguished yourself as a personality that youngsters look up to...or for that matter admire... Y on earth do u see the utterly idiotic need to now try and turn magic tricks...??? What are u trying to pull out of the hat... a rabbit or Azhar's head...??? That too after 15 odd years??? Incidentally I am no admirer of Azhar…U must have by my understanding completely lost your marbles...Assume for a moment that Azhar is involved in match fixing as u say.. where on earth is the evidence??? U going to pull that out from the magician's hat...??? Remember not too long ago u had the audacity to say publicly that Sachin could have done more for your career??? and he was a good friend a very good friend of yours... Look Mr.Kambli I suggest u go back to acting, doing reality shows etc etc...The Indian evidence of match fixing is lost in the quagmire of filth that is Indian cricket today.. Let the authorities deal with it. Keep whatever little self respect u have intact instead of trying to look for cheap publicity...Recently J Lele, ex BCCI chief stated in his memoirs that there was no match fixing in India...No I don't believe him... The fact is u are attempting to swim in shark infested waters... U neither have the wisdom, intellect or guile to meet the establishment head-on.. U have to be an Anna Hazare to do th

Ahar be made our PM!
by vin nel on Nov 18, 2011 05:20 PM  | Hide replies

Noting new! In April 2000, the Central Bureau of Investigation named five cricketers, including Azhar, as being involved in throwing matches. The BCCI then banned Azhar along with test cricketer Ajay Sharma for life after their retirement from international arena. But later the public elected him as their MP. So after this new allegation by Kambli, Azhar should be elevated and made the PM of this country! In India 'Crime' makes you rich, famous and ultimately the Public elects you as their representative in the Parliament!
