Rahane
Virat
Pujara

Jadeja

Flat indian pitches? Same team

Flat/Spin pitches? replace Umesh/Aoron with one leg spinner(still rahul sharma need to prove himself), other choice Ojha.

fast/swing pitches? then replace Jadeja with P.Kumar

fast/bounce pitches? then replace Jadeja with Ishant

Do you need more allrounders in the team to give rest to main four bowlers.

Did you consider also bringing in Yusuf Pathan to add to Ravindra Jadeja? Yusuf Pathan and Ravidra Jadeja can bowl in tandem while the four bowlers can stand close to the boundary line, drink water and take some rest?

Dravid is rested to give chance to youngsters... both of them have caliber to replace Dravid/Laxman/Sachin after their retirement.Pujara should be brought after getting some practice in ranji's... In future they also should try our Ravinder Jadeja as allrounder by giving some chances to them...

People want rest for sachin... but that doesn't happen in realty until he decides himself to be rested.. Selector can't dare for that.. If they dare BCCI will be divided to two groups.. Sachin Ally's and other group those who support proper selection and planing..

You both are too worked up and can take rest without thinking too much about cricket.

Not a good move

.
First of all Selector picked UV with out any domestic back up performances.

When UV came to team, he had not a good hands of practice. Directly came from Injuries.

Secondly, if somebody is picked he deserve few series of chances. Specially when experience middle order in a verge of retirement.

This move can harm UV's confidence and now it is guarantee that he will take really long to bounce back.

Finally, why Rohit? Rohit has given tremendous amount of chances.

He has not done well in ODIs. Why stupid people believe he can do good in Tests?

Rohit is just a over hype player. His record of international performance shows he is paying under the table to selectors. ( Please check his profile on cricinfoo)

Great opportunity for Rohit
by sameer bhagwat on Nov 17, 2011 11:14 PM

I have always felt that Rohit is the most talented of the young batsmen we have currently in India. He seemed to have lost his way somewhat. Instead of following the footsteps of players like Dravid, Sachin and Laxman he got attracted to the world of glamour and was looking upto Yuvraj, harbhajan as idol. Hope this brings him back to track. And please, no more fair and lovely ads.

bad and good times come with everyone.Look at performance of dravid,He has done so well 5 centuaries in 5 months. He was supposed to be dropped.but he saved india many times in last few months. I think virat kohli, rohit sharma and rahane deserve chance more than out of form yuvi

Good chance for Rohit
by vicky on Nov 17, 2011 09:50 PM

This is a god send opportunity for Rohit to prove himself in tests. He has been in and out of the tests for obvious reasons, despite having talent. So, its time he takes it seriously and cements his place. There is a lot of competition for the batsmen slot and guess this would be his last chance to go for it. As for Yuvi, its unfortunate that he didnt come good in the batsmen friendly pitches. But he still has an opportunity to get back to domestic cricket and come up with big scores. If that happens, its only going to be a matter of time to bulldoze his way into the test side. With the youngsters like Kohli, Rohit,Raina, Pujara and Rahane waiting for their chances, its not going to be easy for Yuvi. All the best Yuvi, get back your form soon. India needs a talented player like you.
