Tendulkar's 100th 100
by Bablu on Nov 16, 2011 09:04 AM  | Hide replies

I think Tendulkar will not able to score another 100. He is playing for the record not for the team India, so, he should be rested from international cricket.

Yes. Tendulkar will never be rested.

He is going to keep playing into his 60s!

He stopped being a sportsman long ago!

He is now just an ATM for corporate India!

Dhoni and Laxman play for the team
by just leaveat on Nov 16, 2011 07:34 AM  | Hide replies

there were some idiots here who were blaming Dhoni for declaring before Laxman made 200. It is well known that unlike Sachin, both Dhoni and Laxman play for the team and not to make records. I am pasting here the comments from Laxman in the post match conference from news on rediff-

India made a post-tea declaration with Laxman 24 shy of a third double century, but the batsman said he had suggested to the team think-tank to do so.

"The light was deteriorating, especially after MS (Dhoni) got out. That was the reason we wanted to bowl at least 20 overs this evening. So that was the reason we declared."

"When we came after tea, the strategy was to bat five to six overs. But after the third light dropped, I passed on the message to the dressing room that it was important to declare and bowl at the West Indies," he said.

Fixed match
by Abhay Kumar on Nov 16, 2011 03:00 AM  | Hide replies

All these matches are fixed so that the Indian team can regain its standing with the fans!

Nobody wants to watch losers!

The corporate sponsors are flexing their financial muscles and fixing these matches to make the Indian team look good!

If the Indian team is so good, what happened to it in England recently?

A real test of a player is on seaming and fast pitches. This is as if playing in your backyard on a cemented pitch. So no glory to the team. They will be drubbed in Australia. Why don't you wait till that series is over and comment. I'm sure you will change your mind about this Indian team!

Dear vxvxvxvx,

This very Indian team won matches and series in England, Australia and South Africa.. India lost to England ONLY because law of averages and fatigue caught up with India.. Had the series been properly planned, India would have won the series with ease.. please dont comment if you dont understand what cricket is all about..

Sachin to get Century on 4th day
by Kamaljit Singh on Nov 16, 2011 01:26 AM  | Hide replies

If West Indies gets out before tea tomorrow, India is unlikely to force a follow on. Sachin would come in at the fall of the first wicket and would have time till Lunch on Day 4 to score a century. Post that it would be West Indies Annhilation. This is confirmed team meeting news for this evening.

VVS - crisis man for India for over a decade
by ramesh vemuganti on Nov 15, 2011 10:56 PM

Yes, Dhoni lead from the front . But remember the fact, he came in after 350 plus runs were on baord & the Wimdies were decimated by Gambhirrahul,VVS. In fact, the heading should have been, VVS leads from the front. he is a class par excellence, all hyderabadis are literally gaga elated with laxman - so unassuming, stupendous talent, phenomenal comntribution to Indian cricket & a plain simple guy. But for VVS, india would have lost at least 10 tests by now . Ramesh vemuganti, Hyderabad.
