NEW DELHI: The world's largest beverages brand plans a grand tribute to Sachin Tendulkar who is one century short of becoming the first batsman to score 100 international centuries: launch some 6.5 million special Coca-Cola cans with pictures of the master batsman.
The move will help the cola giant make the most out of its Rs 12-15-crore endorsement deal with Tendulkar signed early this year, and make up for not leveraging the association during the Cricket World Cup that India won.
Too many things on sachin mind.. 1. Tendalya coke brand which will be launched after sachin hits 100..already they have payed him 40 crores..millions of bottles are pending coke store rooms..this has added pressure 2. NDTVs special programmer Sachin dont retire till next world cup 3. AAJ TAK and Star newz telecasting programme about his 100 which will be next test match..AAJ tak ran 6hrs on sunday which they ran several times.. 4. Lata Mangeshkar Hunger strike if sachin retires from cricket..even Bal tackry has said the same thing
5. Sunil gavaskar has said if sachin keep himself fit he can play next two worldcups (2017&2022)..age doesnt matter until you are in form.
It is better for him to get out of the international cricket and pave the way for the youngsters to get an opportunity. He is the obstacle now for the Indian Cricket. He is simply playing for his record. I think he does not have sense. He is really misusing his position to be part of the Team. Cheap fellow

mohan, pity that u dnt knw stats. check article of 2 days back. sachin is highest run getter in past 2 years.
