Every one is aprising Dhoni. The team is performing because we have bunch of world class crickter. It remind me when Ponting was having a team of world class players see the current australia team and ponting. Same thing will hhappen to Dhoni very soon. He will be kicked out from team.

those records are already there... cricketers have played tests in 40's/50's and father/son have played in same test... i think hadlees and cairns...
Dhoni => Greatest captain India ever had and undoubtedly its best batsman in high pressure must win games. He has brought the World Cup this year and followed it up with IPL trophy for his team. Sachin = Statistics whereas Dhoni = Results

rohit kumar, what you say is absolutely true. it is a case of statistics vs results.
people are blinded by sachin's records and centuries and their eyes and brains have stopped working.
they just cannot see dhoni's magnificent batting nearly always in critical situations and carrying indian team past the finishing line more often than not. some people just dont understand that it is only after the arrival of dhoni that we have started to win more and lose less.
people say that he is just lucky he has a good team. while it is true that he has a very good team at his disposal it is also true that a bad captain will make a good team look ordinary and impotent and good captain will take the same time to a higher level. the people who say dhoni is lucky have no answer how previous teams with the same players were not able to win so much so often with staggering consistency. people say that he has the team that ganguly built. but neither ganguly himself nor dravid nor kumble were as successful as dhoni.
it is only after dhoni took CHARGE of indian team that we have become accustomed to see wins after wins with very few losses in between...

Sunil Sachin is undisputed champion. He inspired us for more than two decades.. records did not come over night.. he is worthy of his talent to win our hearts high.. we love him as indians.. a billion heart behind him..

babitha, i dont care who you love and who you do not love. i dont care who sachin inspired and for how long.
i am only saying he is just a flat track bully and an overrated player. if you follow his career closely and honestly you should be able to see that nearly all of his runs have come in easy conditions, flat pitches, nor pressure, easy to moderate targets. whenever conditions have become difficult, position is critical, pitches is favouring bowlers, target is intimidating he fails. even if he sometimes does well in such conditions he cannot carry on for long. he just flatters to deceive.
just compare his record while chasing targets of 180-240 runs at such times bowlers have already put us in winning positions and formalities need to be completed. sachin at such times comes up with his patent centuries (without which also we would have won those matches) and steals the MOM award. but when the target is between 280-340 he just crumbles under pressure and fails and leaves it to the other 10 players to complete the job, which by the way they have done many times. babitha in case you do not know his average while chasing targets like 180-240 is around 60-70 runs with many centuries some even not out. but the same sachin when faced with targets like 280-340 fails miserably at such times he has very few centuries or good scores and his average in such huge chases is something like 25-30 runs. if you want to close your eyes to this reality, babitha it is your choice....

Well said. I was overjoyed seeing India win world cup than when seeing Sachin play great. He is a great player no doubt but I want India to win not just him.
